Friend of mine just featured on local news. EMS workers headed to Texas. Tennessee rising again to come to aid of Texas. I'm proud of these heroes.

This is America. We help each other when needed. I know many believe this country is divided but video of these men going into harms way to help strangers renews my faith in humanity.

Pray for these heroes and those in need

Regardless of what we say, or they think....Texas is our little brother and Tennesseans will always go out of their way to help their little brother. It's what we do.

My phone just decided that it wasn't going to play anymore and went wherever phones go when they die. The problem is, it wasn't that old. Just over a year. This is bull spit!

Friend of mine arrived yesterday, will be there about a week. Works the Swift water team for our fire department. Met with Haslam before they left, pretty cool stuff.

Your friend local? If so, I bet they went down together. They had a big group.

I'd love it. There was talk about us sending a few people but it never materialized. I'm not high enough on the food chain to get the opportunity yet. I know B would love to.

Looks like another might hit Florida in a week...which sucks bc we're going to Destin on the 9th

I love how our country can seem like it is on the brink of total chaos but there are still so many people ready to load up and go wherever they are needed to help complete strangers.

Got a nice email from UT today. Nice to know that if you lost your diploma you can get a free replacement. If you lost it in the flooding it's probably one of the least of your worries but it's good to know that UT is looking out for people.
