I'm beginning to suspect none of y'all have ever had, a twice baked potato

I am willing to sacrifice potato skins for properly cooked creamy scalloped potatoes... little crispy on the outside, mushy on the inside, yum.

Fries, although iconic, have no business on this mountain IMO

it's a staple to American casual cuisine. fries have to be on there.

how could you not enjoy Godfather II? Also the Road Warrior is far superior to Mad Max. I will agree with you though that sequels are inferior money grabs 99% of the time.

True about The Road Warrior, but Mad Max was not exactly a classic movie. It was a low budget Aussie film that turned into a high-grossing film, in large part because of a young Mel Gibson, and director George Miller caught the eye of Hollywood. He was asked to direct a much larger budget movie, but since he had a much larger budget to work with he decided to do a second Mad Max rather than the movie he was first asked to direct.

HOW could I not? I don’t know...self-taught? It was REALLY ******* long and somber! The first one flowed really well and did a good job of making me like or at least give a crap about the characters. Personal choice thing. I’ve given it it’s proper due and recognized it’s cinematic greatness, but if the original is playing? I stop and watch as much as I can. Part II? I seek out chores...not fun. Put it alongside ORIGINALS I don’t enjoy...like the Deerhunter and Apocalypse Now.

Deer Hunter and Apocalypse Now you are not supposed to ENJOY...you are supposed to bask in their greatness as they captured the hell of war in a transcendent fashion like no other film has since save maybe Saving Private Ryan.

And I’m still talking about CLASSIC level movies. Terminator, Aliens, Lethal Weapon et al are entertainment flicks. Shoot em up, blow em up...fun. I love them! But don’t regard them as classics. There should never be a Braveheart II or Gladiator II. They tried to do a TV sequel to Gone With The Wind and it imploded. Always glad they never got a sequel to the Graduate off the ground. Personal preference. And JJ Peterson isn’t on campus.

Watch things your way...Mine works for me.
