Terminator 2 is the best example of where a sequel is much better than the original.

When the original had basically no budget? Yeah. Just sayin that if they had ended it after the first, it would have left a level of mystique that would have made it even greater. Lot of theatrical plot devices in the second Terminator that played up Arnold more than the story. The story itself was a forerunner and eerily foreboding. Been reading too many critic reviews...I’ll stop.

Weird. I liked the original much better. T2 had better effects, but the original movie had a much better story IMO.

We just raised a puppy. From 3 to 6 months some breeds have teeth that are sharp like needles. Even if not the least aggressive there will be accidents. Chewing on a toy near a toe or finger. Puppy's also have to be trained . They want to jump on people, and that is a sign of caring for the person. It still needs to be discouraged.
At a year old they are much calmer, and much more into learning. Still very loving and willing to learn. They want to please.

I'm certainly no expert. The comment to talk to a child psychologist is good. At least read about what the experts think.

The true classics shouldn’t have sequels imo. I acknowledge the greatness of several (tho I never ENJOYED Godfather II), but art should stand on it’s own.

I mentioned Godfather II. It’s acknowledged as a superior film, but I don’t like it nearly as much (ok I didn’t really like it, period) and it didn’t have to be made. The door closing at the end of the original would have been perfect. We wouldn’t have seen Robert De Niro’s star making performance, but wouldn’t have known what we were missing. Michael as the Don was soulless and not being able to bring back Clemenza because of contract snags also took away from it...for me. JMO.

For me the only negative to come from Part 2, was that they made Part 3. That was a mistake almost on the same level as eve eating the apple.

Part 3 failing made sure there wouldn’t be others...so it served it’s purpose.
