Finally, no, we didn't get into it. AV said that Wright stopped in town on his way to Tuscaloosa. I asked Austin Price at VQ about that. Price, a guy who can literally pick up the phone and call Wright himself, guaranteed that Wright wasn't in Knoxville. Simonton added on and said no, he was not in Knoxville. I posted that information. People still believed it. I laughed because I thought it was funny. We had pages of conversation, which, I admit I went too far, but people got very upset. I have nothing against AV, he is right more than he's wrong. This particular instance was simply funny to me, but clearly not to the rest of you.

Did it occur to you that Price/Simonton didn't want to tell you that Wright was in town. I'm sure they have a lot of info that they don't share.

If we are bringing guys in under the radar do you really think the reporters are going to know about it???? Or acknowledge it on a paid site?? That’s how their sources of info dry up. What good does it serve to make it up? Meet me for a drink in Knoxville before a game sometime bass and I’ll be happy to tell you the how’s and why’s of Dw. But I’m not going to post here.

That is pretty much what we all said, but Bass decided to be a obstinate dickhead about it. He was getting as pure trollish as Chief before he left. He used to be a good guy.
