Mullen didn't return his call after Currie had already crapped the bed with Schiano. A few days before he could have had Mullen in the bag, because Florida was targeting Chip Kelly (per Larry). With the Peterson deal he said there was mutual interest, which there was. He never made out like it was done, like Atlanta did with Pappoe.

Brother man..we pretty much didn't pursue Mullen lol. He said Mullen was ready to leave State for Tennessee, but Currie went after Schiano instead. If Currie/Haslam would have actually pursued Mullen he would be our head football coach right now. As far as Pappoe goes, Atlanta said he was a silent to Tennessee, along with a few other posts that made it sound like it was wrapped up. All Larry did was predict Peterson would be Tennessee's next coach. False equivalency here.

Yeah Atlanta said there was a 65-70% chance that Gruden would be the man and it that it would be a "total collapse" if it fell through. Wasn't like he was kind of taking a shot in the dark. You're confusing me on the rest. Bottom line is, Larry said we didn't pursue Mullen aggressively whatsoever, and it's clear that we didn't. Said we could have had Mullen had Currie not wanted Schiano.

I love you too bleed Orange! And I wasn’t wrong. I 100% stick to my guns because well I know what I am talking about and you are just here to take a dump on anyone you can that you can point out. OP was silent to us simple as that. Silent commits are a good thing and a bad thing...shows the real intent to flip or commit is there but until you put pen to paper we all know how that goes. Just ask Derrick Brown or any of the other thousands of kids who have been silent that changed their minds due to whatever circumstance. At least OP was a man about it and actually handled it like he did...a lot of these kids would have remained “silent” to us and then bam on signing day not honor their word...those are the ones that sting the most where it totally blindsides you the day of with no warning at all.
