That was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, because usually his info is followed closely by 247 or VQ. He's said some things on here before that indicate he's probably a "recruiting liaison", and let slip a couple things he probably shouldn't have. But the last thing I'd wanna do is run him off.

The singular point I was trying to make is that if he drops in on these threads too much, too early, or whatever, and it doesn't turn out well for the Vols, folks could turn on him.

Unless you're a true grassroots insider like Hyams, or, OD...everyone's guess is just that...guesses. Some appear to be more informed. AV appears to be one of those, ill concede.

Exactly. I thought I made clear my post was not anti-AV, but was nonetheless attacked by one of his suicide bomber supporters (who I don't blame AV for) it's just weird.

It doesn’t matter man. Them good. Us bad That’s as much differentiation as we’ll get from some I guess. I can’t believe I ever had the gall to question whether it was good for the almighty to give a “like us here” to a guy’s thread we just “have a shot at.” I actually value AV’s word more that that, and I feel bad that me disparaging his posse of guardians makes it look like I don’t. Because I really do love when he drops in with info. (Sigh)

Who is on here openly doubting AV? I haven’t seen it. I’m telling ya, the way VN is it won’t take much. I’m sure there are some wise old owls like you but hell hath no fury like some pissed off bandwagoning Vol fans. If you don’t know that, you haven’t been here.

I think that explains a lot of the hate from the media. VN got the Schiano hire nixed before it even happened. And I was actually proud of that- we all know the circumstances. But it can rear it’s ugly head as well.

Kind of cherry-picked around “annoying” and “braindead tards”, but yeah. Prob should get back to Washington. What did AV mean when he said... oh crap now I remember how this all started 😯

Some folks like to be on stage ... most of us just want to hear news on the recruits. If you want to be on stage ... go audition ... otherwise stick to two things ... recruiting news ... and silence.

Bloody guy who checks in at 2 AM...pretty irate. Notorious taco truck dude who’s a credible inside guy in his own right...plenty of other. Been active on the board for 6 years but appreciate the history lesson. We’re not that delicate...at least the vast majority (wise ole owls OG’s) of us. Hear all the “pump the brakes” “don’t hope for anything cuz meltdown” proclamations and have to some degree my whole life as a Vols fan...and I just turned 50. Real Vols fans can handle disappointment. We’re practically professionals in that regard. Bandwagoners jump on and off at their own risk of being crushed under the wheels...DGAS.

This is what I don’t understand. Same happened to me when I questioned his info vs the evidence and all the services information.
