Seems kinda silly to make fun of Georgia Losing in the SEC championship game when UT hasn't been to one since 2007. A Georgia team that blew us out this year.

I'm glad they lost, but any Vol fan would gladly trade places with them in terms of national recognition the last few years

How about those bulldogs? They are the most consistent team in the SEC.

They did lose the game. How did they choke against a team that is better? LSU beat Bama and will probably win it all

One of the bigger points is Kirby has shown he can't win the big games even when he has the BEST talent. Pruitt can claim that he can win with the BEST talent by pointing to his BAMA and FSU defenses. The big question is does the BEST talent (D. Washington) see this also.

His plan was to put a spy on 22. They still couldn't cover him or anyone else for that matter. Couldn't dial up much pressure on Burrow either. Kirby is average at best.

Because of what you've said above... Georgia clearly has more player talent, but they lost to a better team. And if LSU didn't have the best players on the field, then what made them the better team???

The talent gap between those two is very small. LSU has the best QB in the country

I'd say the same thing when this board makes fun of Bama and Florida when they lost. IMO, it seems silly to make fun of a team that beats you on a regular basis.
Start winning some of these games then it's a differ story.

Here's the talent gap... LSU's talent is much closer to USC and FSU than it is UGA's.


And as far as QB's go, Fromm was the#4 Pro style QB out of HS with a .979 composite rating. Burrow was the #8 Dual style QB with a .900 composite rating who could never get the starting job at tOSU so he had to transfer.

Seems to me the difference might be coaching, but you can keep claiming talent if it floats your boat.

Seems silly for a supposed Vol fan to object to bama, florida, and georgia being the subject of jokes.

You’re a bit misinformed Burrow won the job at OSU and lost it in fall camp to Haskins because Burrow broke his throwing hand in practice, it’s pretty well documented

With that thought process, why are we in the SEC? We need to move to the Sunbelt or Ohio Valley Conference. If Tennessee does not desire to be the best and play the best teams then we are all wasting our money following just another program. And if I were a recruit I definitely would not be interested in identifying with such a program.

I’ve seen us get our teeth kicked in for more than a decade now. I’m ok with a win and some momentum going into the spring
