Well, Alcoa are the good guys. Much smaller enrollment and yet more diverse student body. Very few richey rich, privileged there.
My wife is a Maryville grad and says Alcoa all the way.
Yes, I’m aware. Being an Alcoa parent and a wife who is a Maryville grad I can assure you there is a snob factor over there.Why do people act like Maryville is the Hamptons or something? It is a nice town with a decent median income, but it isn't all millionaires who buy their kids a Mercedes when they turn 16.
went out downtown to new Brewery. Folks were nice, but first question was 'did you go to MHS?' it s a fraternity. Some of the locals were snobby with my wife. I dont take kindly to that nonsense. We've thought about moving there....always liked Maryville. But when saw that, said 'noted'. Tri Cities is a bit more down to Earth.
