But he will always tease you with a game like he had vs Mizzou. He's really good... about 20% of the time.
20% is about right. Auburn and Ky last year, SCar, Mizzou and a half vs Ky this year. That’s 4.5 out of 22-23 games the last 2 years. I don’t know how in the world JP and Chaney can realize this, dissect this astonishing inconsistency and overall poor play from the most important position on the team and wanna go forward with him.

Tennessee needs to come up with a cooler name for the "star" position...off the top of my head...mongoose, the hornet, the hawk, the scorpion, cougar, the badger. Anybody got anything?
My vote would be for something like hatchet, machete, or bullet. Although I do like your mongoose suggestion.

I keep pointing this out... people agree then seem to forget.

CJP had pretty much said that Maurer was the starter after UGA. Had he not had that freak injury vs MSU then he would have been the starter going forward. I don't know how that might have turned out. Maybe better. Maybe worse. But Pruitt was most definitely willing to replace JG if he'd had an option.

That had to be a tough pill to swallow. Pruitt had handed the job to JG this time last year I'm sure in part to build his confidence.... no one looking over his shoulder. There may have been grad transfers available but they stuck with JG. JG got a TON of attention from 3 guys who know QB's. It appeared to be working. JG looked good over the summer and August. Then... the lights came on and he wilted.

JG appears to be fool's gold.

Can we has wise man's gold please? HB?

Love Reece, love hard hitting safeties. Great kid too. Always worried with every big hit tho with the rules as they are. As for Pinkygate, I actually feel for Cade. Pinkygate has taken on a whole new meaning with his mom suing for loss of consortium bc dad lost his pinky. Poor kid.

Why can't she just get on top?
