I can appreciate Isbell's song writing skills but I just don't care for his music...and I've tried.

Have you tried his older music? The Southeastern album is the GOAT. Really like his Drive by Trucker stuff as well. I was a huge Isbell fan, but his newer stuff isn’t as appealing to me. Like most artist, he fell off when he got big, rich, and comfortable.

Isbell did his best stuff with DBT. Southeastern is a great album, but it's not exactly uptempo. As a songwriter, he's as good as Guy Clark; and Guy is my favorite...

not to argue, but when you listen to folks that know the position, you hear them more times than not talk about how he made the right read, just a poor throw. were at least 3 in the INdiana game, 1 being the pick six.

he has to see the target. he can't throw to the spot where the target is going....at least not consistently. i think he's gotten a lot better pre snap actually.

JG almost never throws a receiver open. So many of his throws were late and high in the bowl game. Maybe the best throw he made all night, which would probably have been a TD, was when Jennings ran a shallow post and was held. The ball looked like it would have hit Juan in stride had be been able to complete the route. We got the flag and the 1st down so it ended okay but looked like it could have been a great throw and catch.
