Red dirt is all I listen to! Such great music. just to add to the list, Drive by Truckers, Cody Jinks, Turnpike Troubadours, Ryan Bingham, Sean Smith and the saints, Alex Williams, and so on.Whiskey Meyers, Childers (picking up a ton of steam), Red Shahan, Midland (gets a lot of radio), Colter Wall, and, of course, Sturgill (new album is pure rock)
Lots of good county out there if you look for it.
I wouldn't call that being bailed out. Mizzou most definitely committed those penalties. That's their style. I think Pruitt and Chaney prepped the officials for it. They ran plays to draw the penalties. He was bailed out a ton vs Mizzou and ive never seen 6 PI calls against 1 team. His WR fabe h UK m a career game he hung them out to dry alou.
It was a great strategy...he wasnt bailed out by those calls. But by his WR. They made some great catchesI wouldn't call that being bailed out. Mizzou most definitely committed those penalties. It was a well played strategy.
...and I never cared for them either.Isbell did his best stuff with DBT. Southeastern is a great album, but it's not exactly uptempo. As a songwriter, he's as good as Guy Clark; and Guy is my favorite...
If you haven’t already, get Isbell’s Southeastern album and listen start to finish like 3x straight. IMO, best album is years....and I never cared for them either.
Like I said, I appreciate his song writing skills. I love a great tune that tells a story with a great sound.
Broken Window Serenade by Whiskey Meyers is one of the best songs I've heard in a long while...hits a little close to home too.
I'll give Isbell and DBT another shot...I just don't care for his voice much.
I was just now...I'm going to give it another shot.If you haven’t already, get Isbell’s Southeastern album and listen start to finish like 3x straight. IMO, best album is years.
