I graduated high school in 1978 and the top ACT score then was 36. It has been 36 for as long as I know. The average ACT score for a student admitted to UT now is 27. When I was admitted it was much easier to get in. An 18 probably would not get you in UT if you were not an athlete or had some other qualification(s).
I am not sure how someone would make a 4 on the ACT unless they didn’t answer the questions.

A buddy of mine transferred in to UT's communication program with a 2.0 GPA from another college lmfao.

Not hard to get into UT

77% of applicants are admitted but it's definitely competitive and MUCH more expensive than it used to be. UTK's average incoming ACT score is a 28 and the average GPA is a 3.97. My son is an outstanding student, and he wants to attend UTK, but it's going to nowhere near his most affordable option.

Both parties are full of self-serving evil egomaniacs. Duh.

If the Bernman gets the nomination, and it is looking increasingly like he will, I would say there will be a huge vacuum created of people that can't stomach his socialist/communist platform but also can't pull the lever for Trump. If a third party like the libertarians ever had an opportunity to make itself relevant in a presidential election it looks like this is the year. IMO.

Sure but I got the message. They need to follow the other party's lead and throw in a couple of token candidates before picking the old rich white guy.

I was hoping Ben Carson would've gotten the nod in 2016. He is a smart guy and I think he would be a fantastic president.

Average GPA of 3.97? Are you sure? I know that's including weighted averages, but it still seems insanely high.

That’s the average for the incoming freshman.
I got into UT with a 3.0 GPA from pelli. I also got into UT from HS with a 2.5 GPA and 21 on ACT with a really well written part of the application (Hint: make them feel bad and tell them how bad you want to get an education and how hard you’ll work for it, may seem cliche but worked for me). I also put that I was the only one in my family that got a college degree and how that drives me everyday (which is true).
Again, it’s not hard to get in.

Wish Ron Paul was still alive, this would be his time.

May not be the cheapest but he can get a job on campus that could pay towards the education as well.

Also, depending on how far you live from campus and what degree, it’s wayyyy cheaper (obviously) I got my degree in Supply Chain, lived from home and it was like $7500 a semester without scholarships.

I think you get a 5 if you fill out the administrative data correctly.

I remember to this day that a kid in my class got a 12 for just writing his name and filling out stuff randomly and the next day he said he wanted to be a doctor and felt great about his score. He received his score and got a 12. He now builds and repairs furniture

the left and right of center are gonna have some difficult choices to make, agree. my gut says nobody the dems have offered up can beat trump unless voter turn out is just plain bad cause everybody thinks "trump is gonna dominate, so what's the point...."
