If this pic is true why are the same things that happened then are still happening now.

We don't know at this point if what happened was due to racism or just a bad cop being a bad cop. He apparently has a history of write ups for prior misconduct against citizens, but we don't know as yet if those prior incidents were against blacks, against whites, or both. I also saw a news report last night that the cop and the victim may have already known each other, with both supposedly working as security at the same nightclub, so all of this has to be investigated.

This may have been a case of racism, but then again it may not. We don't know at this point, but there are some who want these types of incidents to be labeled racism because they profit from it. But there are some cops that are just bad cops. Either way, this cop is most likely going to be charged with murder, as he should be. If he were to escape prosecution then people have a right to protest the injustice. But at this point the protests are being driven by the usual suspects who profit from it.

Trump is not perfect. In fact he is a loud mouth fool on Twitter. But nothing he mentioned is directly because of his presidency. IMO, Obama wasn't as bad as republicans say and Trump isn't as bad as Democrats say. That's coming from myself, a conservative

I was bused across town to 'integrate' two majority black schools. I saw first hand what Jim Crow has done. If you can't see the difference between an America then full of institutional racism, and an America now that elected a black president twice, you aren't very bright.

Yes, racism is still real. Yes, there are a few dirty cops (of all races). Yes, progress still needs to be made. But nothing about burning down and looting businesses is related to civil rights and racism. That will end badly for us all. God help them if they come to the grassroots south with that nonsense. You might get away with looting Atlanta, but you try that in the surrounding counties and people will die.

I do not understand why anyone would want to take away our guns. We would be British right now if it weren’t for armed citizens defending this country. There are billions of guns throughout the US and less than .1% are used illegally. Having my guns near me helps me sleep at night since I have my family to protect.

Got murdered but made the world a better place. Looting and rioting does nothing to improve the situation. People should be outraged over the police needlessly killing a man. It was a horrendous act. Rioting and looting are not legitimate forms of protest. Suggesting they're somehow the answer is idiotic. Protest the police, the people who actually did something wrong. Demand change. Looting a target and burning unrelated businesses down does nothing to spread the message. It just creates more outrage. And let's not pretend people are stealing **** because they're mad at what happened. It's people taking advantage of a tragedy to give in to their baser instincts.

A situation like this where a man is needlessly killed should unite this country in outrage, but when idiots use the situation to run wild they rob the situation of the impact it should have. Rioting and looting has nothing to do with protesting. That's just bull ****.

Someone is definitely organized. I am all for arresting these a-holes and if you find out they don't live in the area charge them with domestic terrorism or a hate crime. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if they have done this before and have criminal records reflecting such.

Agreed. The issue is mental illness. I have no problem with making it harder to get a gun or greater background checks. But, we need our weapons to defend ourselves from enemies here and abroad.
