It boils down to every single soul has to decide what they think is truth, why we are here and where we are going. Whatever a person decides is their truth and I respect that. Period. I am well aware most others do not abide by that. My belief is that mere mortals cannot fathom or understand how or why life exists. I guess that makes me agnostic but I respect Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists alike. As long as they don't infringe on my right to believe as I do. Seems simple but it sure ain't.

Look - I agree with de1 here. At least to a large degree. I am not sure how these guys ended up in the position they are in, who liked those guys or blessed that they were going to be leading the charge for NIL but ---
I am sure they are nice guys and UT grads and a boutique marketing group - but yes - given a month, I am sure that Volnation could in fact come up with something much more robust than what these guys have put together. They have to be independent of the university - so they check the box there.

It just seems like incredibly weak sauce - vs what Texas and Texas A and M and others have put together. But here in lies the rub. It is always going to be uneven with NIL.
I am pretty sure that the university can't even disclose who their donors are to the new NIL group.
It is even possible that we will never be able to compete with Texas and a few others for NIL "purchased" players. It may be our new reality. Interesting times.

I’ve been a fan of Petersons for years, just never made me renounce my lack of faith if that’s even a thing

Doyle convinced me more on what christianity means for America and how the church losing its hold on the US being a detriment. It all made sense.

I have no idea about anything with spyre, I was just askin since you were in the position you are in to have contact with these players if you were doin anything to persuade kids to come to UT. And even if the statement is true (which I don’t doubt) that was under a different HC and staff and a different AD. So that has nothing to do with the current recruits, and we need people who are in position to help change the perception of the program to step up and do so. I’m just a simple nobody but if I had inside knowledge of the current culture and how it has changed and become better than id be doin my ever lovin best to change the perception of the program I love and support!!
