What is different between what she's doing and what the East Germans were doing in the 70's and 80's? . Absolutely nothing.

If the governing body gets a handle on the proper hormone levels then she should in theory be able to compete without an unfair advantage. I just don't think they're there and I'm not sure it would've been possible even if they were given what year she was in eligibility. But in theory, I could see someone like Lia entering as a freshman and being able to compete at least somewhat fairly in her junior or senior year.

This though isn't that. She was competing and training last year as a male. That's no different than some of the doping schemes in cycling, long distance running, and other sports where you train like hell doped then come off of it before competition.

No, she actually transitioned. Not sure where you got that from. I just read 5 mins about her and it was made clear she transitioned. It's not a guy in drag, like that turrible ole movie Juwanna Man 🤣🤣 No, really, that movie was awful 😑
It is not a woman, it is a dude.

Exactly. She's taken the transitioning horomones for years, as far as I've read. Not a stunt obviously...not a guy in drag as other poster suggested. No idea about surgery, that is another step...quite a big one in my opinion 😅 I can't imagine...but the drag resistance gainz...🤔🤔
People can live however they want, but that ain't no woman, and no amount of surgery or pills is ever going to change those chromosomes.

Let em form own league and compete against each other if they want. This f'n world has gone insane.

Reality of what?

She's a woman. She may also have a possible biological advantage due to growing up with extra testosterone while developing.

Afaik that's as close to reality as I know. Of course, tons of opinion and disagreeing science is all swept in it. But that's as much as I know about her situation and others' trans athlete situations.
That is not a woman, it is a dude that wants to be a woman.

Crap, my wife is left handed.
Good bye VN, I’ve had a pretty good run. Our 25th anniversary is 3/22…she will likely dismember me with a silver knife to honor the Silver Anniversary celebration. 😳
I'm gonna miss you, Doc.

Okay, so everyone else is gonna need to step up your "like" game after Doc is gone.

figured 03 were some good shows. i enjoyed their new stuff that year. that was about the time made full on transition to bluegrass. never looked back
i went the inverse... all country country and bluegrass till end of high school (95) then rock and jam bands. Bluegrass/Bill Monroe was a natural transition to Grateful Dead... most prolly dont know that Jerry came out east to see a bunch of Monroe shows.. i guess that's when he met Grisman??

Mid to late 90s were obviously the big jam band days in the wake of Garcia's death in 95. Panic and Phish and others. I was into WSP mainly until Houser passed in summer 2002. I only saw a handfull of shows with McConnell. Acoustic shows at the Palace Theater in Louisville were good. Got back into a little bit when Herring took over.. saw them when they came to Colorado when i was living out there 2010-15.
