I'm too young to remember Cheers. Oh, and Golden Girls is infinitely funnier than that other show (not a high bar to set, NCIS is funnier than Seinfeld, as is a root canal without anesthesia).

Been to the Bull and Fitch Pub a few times. Their outdoor sign is Cheers. No telling how much money that bar has made just since the creators and producers of Cheers chose that sign. Like Toms Restaurant for Seinfeld. Been there to eat too

Cheers, is still funny. The repoire and chemistry that set had is excellent. Also, in its day the writing was the best.

Nope...I see to much of it on full display everywhere I go, however that maybe because the weirdos are out in the full sunlight now.

The majority of folks that I see are just regular people, but then again I don't live in a freak run city surrounded by them

They do run the media world though, so I think it is being done purposely.
