I was down in your neck of the woods last weekend and did a loop of the Collins Gulf. Wildflowers were just coming out and they were beautiful! Storms previously not predicted came in, so instead of an overnight, I turned it into a 16 mile day hike that almost killed me lol! Wonderful place you live at:

Both chocolate and cinnamon are ingredients in Mexican mole sauce, much older and much further south than American chili. While I will not argue that either make fast food spaghetti chili puke any better, both can be used in chili to very good effect.

I like putting Cacao or Chocolate (ground) with Cayenne and heat on my steaks. Little brown sugar for carmelization.

Anyone know a nice safe town to stay overnight at between Chattanooga and Atlanta? Preferably closer to Atlanta. Traveling to Orlando and gotta split it up into 2 days. First time taking I-75 through Georgia so I have no idea what to expect or where to stay. Thanks

Marietta is a nice area. Stayed there a couple times

Then how can you judge? (saw the Meateater too, loved it!) Rogan is a Bernie guy, quite different than me, but a great conversationalist. I love listening to all perspectives.

I really don't understand the idea of lambasting someone for giving "fill in the blank" "a platform". WTH? The greatest thing that truth has on its side is that it stands up against impersonation in open dialog. If someone is truly a nutjob, it seems like you'd want as many people to hear them and see just how nutty they are. Let them cancel themselves.

Instead, we have an out of control cancel culture that wants to be the harbingers of truth for everyone else. That's what's really dangerous to society. Not giving people platforms.
