Spent 20 years in the Navy and never set foot on a ship except for a one day tour of the Enterprise. Never went on a deployment at sea. Spent the entire 20 as a Naval Aviator on land based P—3’s.I was in Air Force and fully respect every branch, but there was no way I was getting on a boat for months at a time out to sea. lol
Thank you and God Bless all you who served!!
I can't be the only one that loves this ranking. It's a horrible place, please stay away. Lol!

"The Volunteer State has notched some impressive economic development victories lately —like a major Ford electric vehicle facility — gaining lots of new residents in the process. But those workers are moving to a state that is chipping away at inclusiveness. The state has passed a series of laws aimed at the LGBTQ community, including a transgender sports bill this year that the Human Rights Campaign calls “discriminatory, unfair, and unnecessary,” the CNBC report said.

I get that UNC is the next most coveted brand for the SEC or B1G to add outside of Notre Dame. It expands the footprint and adds basketball and academic prestige (kind of). If I’m Sankey of course I would try to get them. Their fans occasionally think they’re football fans and they all come out of the woodwork every time they think they’ll be good (see last year)…and then they suck. I don’t want them because North Carolina has been a place where we and other SEC schools have gone to get guys that want play SEC football . I don’t want that to change. If we have to add I would be happy adding the Virginia schools to expand the footprint. Clemson and UNC would be the greatest financial gain.
I think State would be a great cultural fit with the SEC. I think they would take to it very quickly and would be anxious to get away from UNC, similar to the way aTm was with Texas.North Carolina State or Wake Forest is whom I would add if the SEC decides to add a North Carolina university in the future to gain a footprint.
I owned a biz after the USAF in Raleigh and serviced 2.5 million in just Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, in 2005-2014. In 2008 Raleigh (wake county) was getting 68 new students per day. Triangle Park in Raleigh is a huge draw. Too bad it’s a commie state on taxes. I sold out and came home for that reason. Not a bad choice. Raleigh and Durham are big time up and coming Cities.
