Sure it is. Well, maybe depending on how strict you distinguish between definition one and two:

These are the multiplication tables. Memorize them. They are coorect and you need them.

Why are they correct?

Because they are. You missed half of them. That's a 50% An F. You failed?

Nuh uh. To me, that's 70%, and 70% is an A+.

Not around here.

This is the alphabet, and each letter corresponds to a certain sound. They are combined by these rules to form words.

Why?

Because those are the rules.

It's all indoctriination. And we can all have opinions on what subjects are up for inoctrination, and to what degree within those subject.

To agree with @Glitch and @MarcoVol, the major problem in our country is that parents have abdicated the responsibilities of teaching their kids, and are now shocked, offended and horrified with what the state has chosen to do in their absence. i.e. what the parents, corporately, have allowed.

You could probably add to that that we have accepted and created a society that convinces kids that they can never have a future without submitting themselves to the higher education indoctrination, which at least on the liberal arts side is teaching postmodernism and relative truth.

Get that, we are pressuring kids to be taught that no one is really able to teach them because there really is no truth.

That'll be $100,000 for your confusion.
I hate this stupid f'n world these loons are creating...meanwhile China is licking it's lips at how easy it is going to be to destroy us.

They all have 5* hearts though and that's what matters
You going have to leave your bedroom sometime Rudy. Find yourself a girlfriend even if she's a little plump. Your 35 now and even a McDonald's job will ease the burden on your Parents. Going thru life hiding from your identity is no way to live. I'm pulling for you.

I made more this morning on puts than you will this entire month. Tag someone else.

What is puts and how do I get in on it??

Open a brokerage. Deposit a good chunk of $. Get approved for options trading. Find stocks that suck and are obviously being pumped by the internet and buy puts, OR buy SPY and or other blue chip stock puts around catalysts coming out (bc those things haven't been going great lately). Once you're up on them put in a stop loss. Then just let it ride until you make a lot or the stop loss hits.

Edit: It's quite simple, but it will seem overly confusing at first. That is why more people do not do it.

Even with stupid high IV you are making money long puts?

With the crazy volatility lately I would think that makes sense.

Never really considered using long puts to trade the correction from a P&D, but if the IV isn't crazy out of line that sounds like a viable strategy.

That is exactly my strategy. First was Redbox a handful of months ago when that was up something absurd like 1000%+. I raced to get approved for options bc I talk with friends every day about this (and they know much more than me), but I was dumbfounded how a dead company like Redbox was getting pumped and wanted to make $ on the inevitable crash. I usually try and sell quick too, I'm no pro but I at least think I can see when a pump and dump is running out of steam, and they always do at some point. I usually buy puts expiring at the end of the week because the P&Ds just crash like crazy and the gains are great. I wish I could add more to a conversation with you but I believe you probably know 10x what I do and can talk circles around me.

It's completely clear. I've traded options for a couple years, primarily income trades, but I'm always looking for interesting ways to trade. Never really considered trading P&Ds, since that's something you generally run away from, but long puts would be a great way to exploit those extremes. I might dig deeper.

Twitter is (was) full of people that hop on those. I made a separate twitter just to strictly follow those types of accounts. Interestingly, just yesterday, 8 of them associated with Atlas trading group got arrested for pushing pump and dumps. I'm a bit saddened by that, as that was one of the best sources to follow those stocks that were getting pumped. Good luck to you with all your trading. I may shoot you a message sometime to discuss some ideas.
