it was my perception that he had an ego, and that money was part of that. granted he did seem to donate and give to some folks. but the few comments he made to me and others were arrogant.

how he spends his time and money is up to him. but i'm not going to kiss his ass bc just because he is wealthy. again, my perception, based off a free message board.

I will say that the wealthy folks I know wouldnt ever get on ANY SM or message board seeking back pats.

You said it all in those last two lines. Very odd behavior by him but to each their own. And I suppose also, to each their own, to the people who jump at any chance to defend AV even still after all these years when they didn't personally know the guy.

Dabo's definitely lacked humility...a lot, even though he's preached about it.
I don't question his heart. Because heart and ego have nothing to do with each other by nature.

Heupel on the other hand, is just a dude totally wrapped in building program that's exciting and helps kids succeed. He's not perfect either as he tried to run the score up on UT Martin even to the last play lol.
But us FANS, PLAYERS, and RECRUITS all see that he's just a genuine dude trying to coach good football.

That's going to win out. I don't think Georgia will be the "next Bama ". Nor will Bama be that, while Heupel is in Knoxville.

He only verified what Beaver communicated. It was "I know Jack and Joe at this fancy shmancy club". AV going, "well I can verify that, so maybe you are connected". That was it. He never said Beaver was Fulmer himself or something akin to the insiders of insiders.

I still think Beaver was possibly the child of a real booster. Or a friend of one. He knew what to say to get vouched as knowing the right folks...but I think it stopped at that. I mean hell, he could've been the janitor at that fancy club for all we know now

Yes if he truly helped ashley out from a good plce in his heart then hes a good guy.
