We're having two different conversations.Never said he wasn't a real person, or that he wasn't wealthy, just that his recruiting information was not reliable/essentially worthless.
Here he is saying there was a 65-70 percent chance we get Gruden. Again the FOIA production revealed Gruden was not ever on the radar the last go round, it was all 100% imaginary.

Here he is vouching for MIT Beaver. MIT Beaver for anyone who doesn't know was a troll and a fraud.

Someone said he was asked to quit posting on the board and giving us information. Not sure if true. It’s true I don’t blame him for not wanting to anymore. Why did he leave? Was it just all the flak he took? I wish he'd come back, he deserves to share in our success on here just like any Vol fan.
Full disclosure, were you the recipient of any of his gifts that he gave his followers? We're having two different conversations.
I'm saying he's legit.
You're mad he was wrong a time or two.
Guess what...he was too.
And a FOIA request will only cover information from those who are employees of the University.
Do you hold everyone to this same standard? Did you lose money on his misfires? There are a lot of people that are wrong everyday...Preachers, politicians, meteorologist, teachers, judges, lawyers, the clerk at the gas station. Why are you holding on to this for so long?Never said he wasn't a real person, or that he wasn't wealthy, just that his recruiting information was not reliable/essentially worthless.

He got his hopes up. Can’t ever get over that!Do you hold everyone to this same standard? Did you lose money on his misfires? A fact like that would clearly go to bias in any court of law. C'mon now. Like I said, I don't doubt that the guy is rich, or that he did some nice things for people, I just don't believe his recruiting info was of any value, and it bothers the hell out of some certain people when I say I don't think it was of any value. You think because I'm a little biased that impairs my ability to discern?
Nah, back in the day he just had this rabid fanboy/fangirl club that would try to silence any criticism of him by anyone. That generally has the opposite effect on me.Do you hold everyone to this same standard? Did you lose money on his misfires? He had a cult-like following back in the day, complete with attempts to squash and silence any dissent. Again, never said he wasn't rich, just that his recruiting info was worthless. I even allowed that could largely have been because he was gullible/terrible at reading people as opposed to actively misrepresenting things.> his followers
He wasn't a cult leader, bro lol.
I think dude would remember whether or not he shook hands with coaches, gifts or not.
Unfortunately he did absolutely nothing for me except like a couple of my posts, and I loved living vicariously through him while he was inside letting us know who was saying what. You don’t like that. You also don’t like someone that actually does know him and agrees so you have to say they’re biased because he did something for them. Admit it. You got your feelings hurts. Your worse than a woman scorned.A fact like that would clearly go to bias in any court of law. C'mon now. He ran to the board to share positive news about recruits before anything had been locked down. A kid telling the coaches that Tennessee is the leader while still having four more visits to take isn't what most would call a lock, but I think AV's enthusiasm took over and he pulled the trigger too soon on sharing things he heard about recruits. He wasn't a fraud but he was certainly guilty of not covering his own rear end.He had a cult-like following back in the day, complete with attempts to squash and silence any dissent. Sorry you didn't get anything for your loyalty. I got no problem with ob, just had a pointed question for him about a fact which clearly can be used to infer bias. Again, I will even cede that AV was "legit" in that he is in fact a rich dude who loves UT, I just don't think his recruiting info had any real value.Unfortunately he did absolutely nothing for me except like a couple of my posts, and I loved living vicariously through him while he was inside letting us know who was saying what. Guy who is bitter about Gruden has more insight on a guy than one who has met him, met coaches because of him and been on the daggum field to do it. Yeah, no, he's a fraud lol.A fact like that would clearly go to bias in any court of law. C'mon now. Exactly! He told us what he knew!!!! Recruits change their mind a lot on the way to giving a commitment or signing. Some of us enjoyed knowing where we stood at the moment without thinking that might not change 5 or 25 times before signing day. Some of you didn’t want him to tell us anything unless he had it written in blood. He ran to the board to share positive news about recruits before anything had been locked down.
