I'm sure that's two different women. However, it does remind me of being 21 and living in Chicago. I was about to move back home to Tennessee to go to school. Some friends wanted to go out for drinks and celebrate. I remember dancing and the 2nd round of drinks coming to the table... then nothing else. I woke up the next day in a strange room with a woman who looked like sea hag in the bed with me... I had one clean finger.

thank God I was married young and didn't cheat all through my wild years...lol...I am pretty sure if I had not been married that I would have a few horror stories of my own..lol.

Honestly, I don't think it's a coincidence that both those guys are coming the same weekend. Signals to me that these are the top 2 choices and that they plan on pairing them. My aim would be to build a bond between those 2 and get it in their heads that they'd be great playing alongside one another. Now I say that with only 1 cup of coffee this morning so my mind...feeble as it is...is still in neutral. Not a bad thing since the rest of my body is still in park.

Heck, my hips have been stuck in reverse the last couple of days and I think I may have burned out my clutch. My toe starter in the left floor board quit a couple of years ago and I have been having to coast start to pop the clutch to get it going.

I'd love to see folks today get in an automobile with a manual transmission, manual windows and a foot control high beam. Throw in no AC and I'd be rolling on the floor splitting my sides. And you know almost no one on this board knows the first thing about a clutch much less a rolling/coast start.

Stomach bug hit my kids and grandkids over Xmas. Wife did the FaceTime thing instead of us diving into that situation in person. Sounded bad. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

We were never so constantly sick when your kids were in school. My kids are now in the spot. They grab everything at school and deliver it home. Hang tough. Graduation arrives way to fast. Enjoy every bump and pothole. I'd give anything for a redo.

My first car was an ‘84 Dodge Omni that I inherited from my older brother. Had a stick shift, manual windows, and no AC.
I became an expert at roll starting it to sneak out of my driveway more quietly - just put it in neutral, start rolling down the driveway, and pop that clutch right when i got to the street. Worked perfectly! (70% of the time)

I have a great story about the day the door froze due to ice and I got it open but couldn’t get it to latch close. So I drove to my job at Food City rotating one arm holding the drivers door closed, one arm on the shifter, and one arm on the steering wheel… wasn’t a flawless idea

Today I sprayed off the remnants of a day old stomach bug, from comforter. Think Dunkin Donuts strawberry icing, but not the sweet confection.

NGL, bout lost it on that one. Moment, not enjoyed.

For you young pups One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is a MUST WATCH. Another incredible 1970’s Movie is The Sting (won best picture, screenplay, and director) with Paul Newman, Robert Redford, and Robert Shaw. Both are in my top 10 movies of all time.
