Worse because people can hurt your feelings now or worse because it’s a level playing field? Show us on the doll where the mean tweets hurt you.
I know you are over capacity now, and when they get yours done it'll be a bandaid. They've got to build a new one some where in the city. All we've gotten is an admission of outdated facilities. As the ONLY elementary, intermediate, or high school still in operation without any updating or new infrastructure, the terms 'immediate need', were used in the Press.
W Walnut has seen a 20% increase in dollars borrowed (now up to $75 million) in bonds issued.
So dar, we have had a property tax hike. And talk. Lots and lot of talk.
Meanwhile many neighbors went to a recent town hall to block rezoning efforts to being in a 'in footprint' apartment complex.
80-120 apartments in an already absolutely swamped area. Let Washington County have them. The city would crawl over glass to let anyone break it off in them, for a buck.
The neighborhood and area cannot sustain another 80-120 households. The school is overcrowded. Teachers taxed. Its a bad deal. It isnt like theyve known about this issue for years.
(By the way, Davide Lefemine proposed and was turned down, to turn that Apartment corridor into a City Park). The asking price, along with paid for site plans was below market value.
They were told no due to too many projects ahead. Namely, Winged Deer, which theyve run out of money for.
It will take private schools. The city refuses to admit the issue. I would put one in Piney Flats, and one toward Gray.I know you are over capacity now, and when they get yours done it'll be a bandaid. They've got to build a new one some where in the city.
Jonesborough funding the building of their school the way they did really took money the city was banking on for your school I believe. Don't quote me on that though. My kids school was built onto but they're already full again.
Bunch of weird people huh? Like people you don’t agree with? Ever stopped to think maybe you’re the weird one in someone’s eyes?Lol nothing to do with mean tweets. There does appear to be more hate allowed now but like I said earlier it’s not *that* hard to avoid. Just gotta throw a lot of blocks out there and not look for it.
It’s just a crappy user experience now. Everything is ads and junk.
It’s like if you enjoy going to the gym. So you go a lot. Smooth process. Get your workout in and converse with others there a little bit. Then a new owner comes in and allows vendors to set up shop every 5 feet who shout at you trying to get you to buy their junk. And every time you have a convo, a bunch of other weird people blurt out a million things that have nothing to do with the topic of convo.

You spend 99% of your time on here arguing with people, striking up arguments out of thin air. I imagine you are a trip on Twitter.
Lol ok, backtracking, got it.Starting to think you don’t use Twitter.
I do not mean “people I don’t agree with”.
I mean accounts posting memes and trying to sell t-shirts and just overall nonsense that has nothing to do with the topic. It’s people who pay for Twitter and are farming engagement. Likely 90+% bots. It’s now a terrible user experience. And I don’t post, I peruse.
And you are one looking to argue in this exchange.
I'm not a big fan of private personally. I understand the necessity for some people don't get me wrong. But I'd put JC education up against any private in the area. It's like anything else. You get what you put into it.It will take private schools. The city refuses to admit the issue. I would put one in Piney Flats, and one toward Gray.
As you know ours is BR. So, we put in plenty. I came from PVT, so, feel qualified to speak on that.I'm not a big fan of private personally. Totally understand. One day we need to grab a drink Jack. I would bet in this town we probably share a few friends in common anyways. Ha.As you know ours is BR. So, we put in plenty. I came from PVT, so, feel qualified to speak on that.
Having children with LD I would absolutely push for one affected to go to PVT. Again its a nuanced thing. Some of my kids need social interaction.
Our school right now is probably harder than most private schools. I know some kids who left for PA. And said it was boring.
Would be fine by me. I'm sure we know people, too small a town.Totally understand. One day we need to grab a drink Jack. I would bet in this town we probably share a few friends in common anyways. Ha.
All great spots. Haven't made it to Cranky's yet. Was supposed to catch a game there with some friends this past fall and one of the kiddos got sick.Would be fine by me. I'm sure we know people, too small a town.
Admittedly, i'm a bit of an introvert I know, shock and awe. At my age, ive got my places I like.
If you and the spouse like historical places, Burger & Barrell is the Kalogeros family joint in old Railroad station, downtown. Also like Atlantic Ale House, friend from HS and their spouse opened that joint.
Crankys is a good pub on the Tweetsie Trail. Kinda fun to ride from there to Riverside Taphouse in Elizabethton.
Only about 15-17 miles depending. Maybe wouldnt recommend in Summer.
seems to me Numbnuts, if it walks, and quacks. it's a duck. my people are high on a mountain in tibet. peaceful. we dont believe in fights. we thumb our nose at your Mongorians.Pacific Northwest is the homeland of Sasquatches, our cousins, Mr. Dumass. The traditional Yeti homeland is the Himalayas. But you communists drove us into exile.
