Recruiting forum off topic thread (no politics, covid, or hot button issues)

@Atlanta VOL is connected in some way. Anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong. Is he always right? No. Is he optimistic to a fault sometimes about recruiting? Yes. Plenty of people on here can vouch for him. He’s helped posters in need and given people tickets to games who maybe couldn’t afford it or just to get families to a game for a fun day of vol football. He’s a good dude.

Atlanta VOL doesn't know anything. It's been painfully obvious for well over a year. I honestly don't know how he's hung onto his e-cred as long as he has. This is a guy who said it was 65-70 percent chance Gruden was coming here, and subsequent FOIA requests made clear that Gruden was never the remotest possibility or even on the radar.

The guy even represented that he had a private conversation with confirmed troll MIT Beaver and believed Beaver was legit. Either Atlanta VOL is himself a troll or he is just so gullible his "insight" is practically worthless. I lean towards the latter since he has done some nice things for people on the Board apparently, which is commendable.

Posts like these always crack me up. He is operating in an arena of incomplete, sometimes misleading information on top of the fact that the information can change at the last minute. It is beyond obvious to anyone that doesn't continually get their feelings hurt at the drop of a hat that AV has access to and conversations with people that know what is going on within the program and recruiting world. He is sometimes told info that is misleading and sometimes the info he is told changes. And, yes, sometimes he might oversell info out of zeal. But not wanting the most legit info you can possibly get because it doesn't come to fruition 100% of the time is so dumb.

my wife, the humanitarian, would give money to anyone she sees. VN helps each other out in times of need. I see beyond my own skepticism & have done so. (no back pats).

Atl Vol may be some philanthropist. Great on him, World needs more leaders. May also be a rouge. I dont care. Take it info with a grain of salt. It's free, it hurts nothing. Read it or dont.

Gruden was a booster-led effort. That is why it isn't in public records. The UTK administration was not willing to give up the amount of control that they would have had to cede, which in reality was probably no more control than Saban has at Bama.

AV doesn’t know anything and here’s proof!!!!

~screenshot of something he got wrong~

Not shown: countless AV posts where he announces visits, interest, and commitments before anyone else

Cool story bro.
He gets stuff from the pay sites and comes over here and spins it as inside intel, like his thumbs down in this thread, Callahan on 247 said on Friday night everything he heard indicated that Smael's choice was elsewhere. Just because some of you haven't seen it anywhere else, doesn't mean it wasn't somewhere else.

That Gruden crap isn't just "something he got wrong" that was something that wasn't remotely in the thought process of any of the real decision makers as revealed in thousands of pages of FOIA production. MIT Beaver just screwed with a lot of good earnest UT fans for months about Gruden and AV basically vouched for him. He's FOS.

This is an ignorant take. But that is why we live in America. Freedom to be ignorant is guaranteed. There are plenty of posters that bring stuff from the pay sites.

Okey dokey, there are a lot more people wise to this dog and pony show now than a year ago.
"Wise?" lol
I wonder how we get access to this top secret paysite that only AV gets to read. Because it must have this info that AV has that is not found on the normal paysites. Ohhhh, I bet it is on that dark web I have heard about.

Like they say, it's easier to fool people, than convince them they've been fooled.

That info from Callahan was over 12 hours old when AV brought it here. It's not like this website hears things the fastest sometimes, though the conversation is certainly best, lol.

If you don't like his info, Thomas Edison invented this thing called the Ignore Button.
