If I'm Shoops, I would stack box, play man, and commit to stopping run game. Hurts has looked very rattled throwing the ball.

We have some personnel disadvantages in this one. It is what it is.

We sorely miss Kirkland and JRM on these runs to the edge, and Vereen IMO is doing a poor job of containing. Making the problem worse, our CBs cannot defeat blocks and are getting pushed out of the play.

On offense, again - we're getting outmatched. Our WRs can't separate... but that's not their fault, because the DBs only have to cover for a two count before the pass rush ends the play. The offensive line is getting crushed.

Need to run Dobbs A LOT to open the third quarter. If it doesn't work, you live with that. But the rest of the offense isn't working - just not enough time to do anything.
