Are they just identifying WRs better than others? Development? Speed + their scheme? I mean UGA had highly recruited WRs too and they look like nothing vs Bama's receivers the last 3-4 years.Smith, Waddle, Metchie all look like 1st rounders. UGA defense looked basic against them.
And Mac Jones can sling it.
This. If people can't still watch and just take it for what it is, idk what to say. Sometimes walking into a thrashing you have to be ready to just laugh a little. Or maaybe we go all 2014/2015 and make it a game, who knows?Taking my chill pill, buying snacks and expect the worse. That's the only way to watch the game.
i didn't watch the UGA game live so i can't say how i would have reacted duirng the ebbs and flows of that game. i can only say i didn't get "upset" when i saw the final score.This. Either way, I just can't imagine going through all of 2020, being on the verge of having NO football and hoping we could merely play for months on end, and stop watching your favorite team in the universe just 4 games into the season. I can't wrap my head around that perspective, but to each his own. I'm here, good or bad. We only get it once a year.
Yeah a game like this is actually way easier for me than UK. No real expectations.i didn't watch the UGA game live so i can't say how i would have reacted duirng the ebbs and flows of that game. i can only say i didn't get "upset" when i saw the final score.
last week however...i really didn't get up set. shook my head at the fumble. threw my hands up at the 1st pick 6...laughed at the 2nd one, and ROFL when Shrout threw his interecepiton.....then just sat back adn watched in silence....
i wont' get upset at all watching this weekend...no reason to. no expectations whatsoever as to actually competing or winning the game.
That dude threw at least five passes against us that should have been picked. He really didn't play much better than JG in the game despite being under a lot less pressure most of the time. They played better but I think UGAs QB finally caught up with them.
Their offense is gonna put a lot of pressure on opposing offenses to keep up. Clemson may be the only one up to task.
I just want to see them fight like they did last year.Pointless to watch this game as a game no matter who the QB is. It will be better to watch positions/groups to see how they are doing against the SEC's best. That will tell you how far we have to go before we can compete with them on a consistent basis. It also eliminates differences in play calling/schemes on both sides of the ball. If JG starts I will pass on viewing and watch the replay to break it down. If HB or BM start, I will watch in real time because I want to see the team chemistry/response to a different leader at QB. That will tell you who the roster believes is the guy they trust to get it done.
Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.

lol....i wish. i was at Legion Field two years prior for the tie....but not that night.Did you give your all? You’re the hero cheesing it in the middle aren’t ya?!
I would have said kick em in the nuts and run but this will work too.Offense:
1. Hand the ball off, a lot. Shorten the game.
2. Strategically platoon 2 QBs. Script some plays / series for Bailey.
3. If it’s 3rd and long, a punt is better than a sack or INT. Know when to give up on a possession.
Defense:
1. Run blitz on early downs.
2. Heavy coverage on later downs. Make them go on long, slow drives.
3. Death by 10,000 cuts is better than big plays.
