I wonder why Hooker didn't look his way more often? Of course we couldn't see on TV, but maybe it was because of something Bama was doing schematically?

That makes sense...it is hard to tell what happens downfield if the camera doesn't pan by.I don't know and couldn't really tell, but I know the color analysts mentioned Bama was being aggressive on those in routes as soon as we made the cuts.
He will get better at that detail stuff as he gets more time in. If he really puts in the work, then just like Tillman and Hyatt he will make millions.Bru really struggled running routes in the first half. He broke off of an option route that could have been a TD or at the least a big chunk play on the sack play. The safety had run off of his side and he was halfway past the DB who was just beginning to turn his hips when he stopped. All he had to do was keep going. He also got hung up getting through traffic because he was rounding his cut rather than planting and going hard across the hash.He was massive though in making them hesitant in choosing their matchup in their zone, ensuring that Hyatt was wide open. He probably sacrificed 2 other catch opportunities getting Hyatt open. That last catch was a man catch of massive proportions. Completely drank their milkshake!
