Appy State is a better team than I gave them credit for. Very possibly better than VA Tech.

D was pretty good. This is a good offense and they had about the same performance as Clemson last year. 290 with the back over 100...their back was the best on the field tonight.

Our best oline consists of jack jones and chance hall on the same side.

They started three drives in fg range (counting OT) and defense gave up 13 points WITHOUT our most productive player and captain and with zero help from the offense. Anyone complaining about Shoop is reaching.

That was a horrible game. HORRIBLE. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that App State is better than we expected and we are probably not as good as we thought (lol).

That said, the team is better now after that game, IMO. A hard fought win with ALL the breaks going against them early is invaluable. Team is battle hardened in week one.

Of course, none of that means anything if the OL continues to be a sieve. I'm thinking there will be some lineup changes in practice this week.
