I didn't think any game could be as nerve-wracking to me this season as the UF game, but this weekend will be even worse. The fate of our program for the next 3-4 years may hang in the balance.

For those that don't twiter, it sounds like he has joined a cult, people won't understand why, bae is the cult god or goddess, and when he dies they will meet in the form of energy?

This loss is squarely on my shoulders, I thought if I didn't mock for two weeks that it would right UT's juju. I was wrong. :cray:

Obviously it will take more than two weeks. :eek:hmy:

Also, during the game while nervous drinking-- a heightened speed of drinking unknown to people outside of the UT fanbase-- I sped through all my beer for the weekend running out of beer seconds before UF's 4th down TD to win :cray:

I honestly don't expect most to read the OP. Most will probably just open, and post their prediction this week. Anyways, :peace2:

I read it and appreciate it. I read OMG's post yesterday and yours today. That will probably be it for me for a few days.

Edit: I'll enter Freak's games also!

Exactly! Glad we're on the same page :)

39-23 Go Big By Gosh Orange! The past is the Past and I gotta think we come out and play very well and are coached very well.

Haha. I chugged 8 Sam Adams during the BGSU game and never even got a buzz. Every time I started to relax they would hit another huge pass play.

That's exactly what happened to me, I didn't have the slightest of buzzes from an amount of beer that should have had me firmly buzzing at a minimum.

Anybody have a good deal on tickets? My wife's bday is next Monday and she's been dropping hints how she would like to go to this game.

TIL bae means poop

It's like Swedish or Scandinavian, yes? It's amazing how many people don't know roots of words.

Kinda like how long it took for people to know Santorum meant something TOTALLY different than a guy's last name

Need Neyland to show out this Saturday and continue supporting the team. I'll be there, so I'll do my part.

Pretty much agree with whichever poster said this will be the apocalypse bowl. Whoever wins has the potential to have a very good season. Whoever loses, may see their team and coaching career fall apart.

I'll be there with my vocal chords! Only one of us will leave though. I can't wait to watch some UT football in Neyland! It is a great honor to do so every year!

Vols win. That is all!

Dude too dramatic. Take some time. Get some sunshine. Go shoot some hoops. Sure it will suck if we lose. But the fate of our program does not rest on this game. At this point we are off the national radar anyways. Nobody has any expectations for us at this point. But we're actually a pretty good team. We're probably gonna beat Arkansas, cause we have more good players. We're also going to give Georgia and Bama fits. Wouldn't shock me if we won out. Ok it would surprise me a great deal, but I could see it.

You guys comparing this team to any of Dooley's though is straight up lunacy. His teams had no foundation. Butch's is set up to continue to improve for years and years. 2012 was an "all in" type of year. We had to win because we were losing everybody and there was no talent waiting in the wings.

Even if we go 5-7 next year, which I don't see happening, I still think we would be set up to improve a great deal in 2016. Our defensive line is stacked for the next few years. Our linebackers, safety's. The offense looks good as well with oozing talent on the oline, at WR, RB and most importantly at QB.

Also this team actually plays some defense. For awhile anyways. The Dooley comparisons do not hold up.

You guys don't want to accept the youth excuse and neither do I. But it's a reality that Butch can spin if things don't go as well as we all hoped this year. He can keep momentum going as long as we finish strong.

5-7 or worse would be worst case scenario and indicate that the wheels had come off and the players tuned out Butch. That might signify that it's time for a change. That I could support.

But if we end this year winning 7 or 8 games... It's pretty meh for us as fans. But it would really just look like we're still getting better and getting closer. I think sticking with Butch could pay off down the line. Especially once his talent is well seasoned and he finds a way to improve on his deficiencies. It's only year 3. We all expected the Saban impact. But that's pretty rare. We're doing alright though. We're really just stuck in this negative tailspin as a result of no great celebratory moments. Every big moment has been bad this season. But they will come. We have too many good players for them not to.

But whatever. Fahr Butch if you want.

Honestly I think this team is going to take out it frustrations and unfortunately for Arkansas they are in for it.

Stifling defense and not letting off the gas on offense.

45 - 10 Vols.

Vol roster is much stronger that Hog roster. Coaching staffs are equal. Playing at home. Vols win 38-24 unless there are team morale or injury issues of which we are unaware.

The better roster did not win against Okie and UF. They made mistakes for sure, but just a little common sense coaching would have given them victories. Which means the roster is Top 10-15 quality. That should be enough in this game. Don't ask about UGA and UA. You already see where it would go.
