'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Arkansas Pregame/Game Thread

2022 South Carolina
2023 Florida
2024 Arkansas

Something stinks.
We get thisclose and shat the bed. Every year. I am not ready to throw in the towel. We didn't get beat by Vandy or blown out by Texas AM. We lost to Arkansas at their house who could easily be 5-0. Texas only undefeated team in the SEC. This is not an easy league. That's my crappy pep talk.

It’s not Golesh. He’s struggling at USF. It’s just CJH needs to trust his QB like he trusted Hendon. That simple. The offense isn’t the same. It’s slower, it’s more conservative, just be your ****ing self.
This. Live or die with your qb, you can't just rely on your defense every week and play ultra conservative on offense. Our play calling looked 100% different from our first 3 games. Did we have a single outside run? I'm sure there were a few, but it was constantly up the middle all night.

Have to question 12 personnel and it’s clear that we were a paper top 5…not saying we are not top 15 but that is not a playoff team either. It’s not whining, it’s a reality folks.
We have a ton of receiver depth. And instead we are playing two below average tight ends. Makes no sense

Nico is so scared to throw more picks… either that or our WRs can’t get separation. Pretty simple

Despite the horribly coached game of Squirrel calls a fair catch and catches it we don’t put them in position to win the game smh.
I mean that was the entire game. Small brain farts on multiple plays throughout the game by multiple players.
- Carter not following the back on 3rd and long with Arky in the end zone
- Pearce offsides on 3rd and long
- Ross running into the kicker
- Squirrel not fair catching the punt
- Countless penalties due to a lack of attention to detail, discipline, and focus
- Jackson Ross uncharacteristically hitting one into the end zone on a short field
- OL not communicating effectively to pick up blitzes
- Nico running tf out of bounds on the final play

Sloppiness all over the field. Nico was also uncharacteristically off target all night. Late on throws, behind, over, not seeing open receivers, missing windows.

I want everyone running bleachers for the next three days.

He’s not the same coach. He’s changed. He has no balls anymore. He’s a scared play caller who doesn’t trust anyone apparently and thinks his defense will just give up 0 points now.

My family canceled their season tickets after 2016. We’ve been saying how mad we were we didn’t bite the bullet since then. Tonight? Everyone is glad that we don’t have the financial commitment.

Bama could lose a game like this under Saban and keep the faith - they had titles on titles. We have nothing but a coaching staff that’s shat the bed in situations like this before. Hopefully this mediocrity is put to bed through the next several weeks. Color me pessimistic they can do it.

Why does josh not trust nico? Let him throw/run . I feel like he held him back this game. You got the dude let him go out there and play
