'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Arkansas Pregame/Game Thread

I was at the game so I can talk about what I saw firsthand. Why did we stop the double stack of the receivers? Why not outside runs by the backs? Why no screen passes to the backs. Why no outlet or hot receiver? Why no quick slants? Why no designed QB runs? These are just some of the things that were not run to my knowledge. We looked very predictable and lethargic on offense, like we were still on our bye week.
All great examples. No 2 tight end sets that I saw. TONS of 4 WR sets, like almost all the time.

The question is were receivers open? I’d like to see the film from a different angle

Keep doing great work, if the staff can’t recruit it’s definitely not because NIL. They choose how to employ that to position groups and how aggressive non aggressive they are. You guys just get the money. Y’all do great work and keep on it Crucial to the chance of success at Tennessee

No. There was very little separation. When the QB would scramble, he either didn’t see the one’s breaking open or just didn’t have time to throw it. Very poor effort on all parts

I didn’t think Nico saw the field well. I saw a few times where he could have made throws. He panicked on a blitz.

Kyle Olson was the referee last night. He officiated the SEC championship game and our Uconn game last season. I looked at the UConn game thread last night and we were fussing about missed holding calls all through it. His crew seems to call ball games one way only.

*we need a thread or spreadsheet of referees and what games they call, like KY has for basketball.

*In the past, I'd take a picture of the referee, get as many names as possible, and document them in the game threads. I've not done that this year because I've been watching with my family. I'll start adding them again (sometime during/after the game) for future references.
For future reference
