They've done good at limiting scores, but they have to get off the field faster. The 8-10min drives will bury us.
Multiple chances to get off the field came to 1 player making 1 mistake. Sometimes for a fraction of a second. That's how close the margin is.

Defense is not that far off from shutting them down, but Petrino is throwing the kitchen sink and at times they're benefitting from luck. I feel better about us closing some 3 and Outs and forcing turnovers in the second half than I do the odds that the same thing repeats itself.

If we do that. The offense gets more possessions and hopefully gets in rhythm. If we don't have turnovers, we grind out a win and move on.

Wild take, but this is kind of what happens when you blow out teams early in the year. Nico regardless of talent still lacks experience.

Hendo had started over a dozen games before he even took a snap here. Nico just has to start growing & learning. Hopefully this 2nd half is the flip switching for him.
Nico needs this game

It's time to make plays

Talent potential no where close i know,
But tell me Nico doesn’t look like the Bad Milton we saw in tough competition.

O line sucks, there’s going to have to be some quick, CORRECT, decisions made.

Worst half of offense in the Huepel era!
Tell my why??

I think you’re underestimating ARK’s impact on our offense looking like poo so far.

Believe they had a great game plan coming in and so far Heup hasn’t solved it. Pair that with the OL getting handled physically (which I did not expect) and you get one hell of an ugly half of offensive ball.

They’re playing their best game and we are playing our worst. Let’s see if we can lean on them at the half, or if we fold under pressure.

Good test for this team.
