‘23 Recruiting Forum: Official Austin Peay Pregame/Game Thread

Well the why did you just say all that **** about orange wedges and cherries and topo chico?
I didn’t even know what Topo Chico was. I had to Google it. Sparkling mineral water? …and he’s telling you to man-up? The next thing you know, he’ll be recommending Zima.

I guess topo Chico is Mexican water without the bacteria.

What did he do? I missed the game.

His behavior was a lot like Shane Beamer’s. Very annoying to watch him dancing around like a fool on the sideline with his team down three scores.

Now, with that being said, he had his team ready to play and he had a good game plan in place. I don’t like coaches who act like fools on the sidelines, but I respect him for having his team very well prepared and convinced they could play with Tennessee.

Let's see what happens the next 3 weeks before we overreact. 2019 lost to Ga St and BYU and yet finished on a 7 game heater. We looked like poo vs Pitt last year and yet rose to #1.

Let's just see...

Agree. I think it’s easy to forget just how bad we looked bad at Pitt last season. It’s still early. Teams are still figuring things out. I’ll be concerned if we drop a dud in Gainesville next week, but until then, I think it’s fair to write this one off as a lethargic performance by a team that was looking ahead.

That play calling still baffles me. I've never questioned Heupel's play calling. Something seems up. I still think Something is going on with Milton.
I didn't get to watch tonight but we didn't protect well in the passing game against VA. Y'all saw tonight and can probably know more with a larger sample size than me but I'm worried that we don't trust our o line for long developing pass plays.

I’m just trying to get someone to tell me what he did. I didn’t see any of it.

What did he do?

Dancing after big plays? Yelling at ref? Did he kick a cheerleader?

Don't care...they didn't stop Podunk U last week..

I get it McGill! Mood at the house has been like a loss....... and we WON by 17 points! Insane cause did win handily but I'll own it.

Hoping at least a a bit of it was it being Peay's super bowl and our "cupcake" we could roll half trying.

Hopefully was a huge wakeup call!
