'21 Recruiting Forum: Official Bama Pregame/Game Thread

They play hard. So far thats all you can say. Everything else is **** weve heard seen with other coaches. Right now all id say is hes better than Pruitt and on par with early Dooley

Then you are an idiot. Dudes running open all day against Pitt. Players struggled a bit against OM, but a different call here and there is a win.

X’s and O’s are tremendous. You just care to bitch about it instead of realizing it.

Can’t be too upset with Hooker, played a hell of a game.

Really needed more from the OL/RBs tonight.

No major injuries (not sure what happened to Theo though) so focus on rest & rehab. 4 games left and 2 upsets against ranked SEC East opponents are possible.
Dude...we are winning six, but we ain't upsetting anybody with Cade out.

Probably the worst roster we've fielded in a while against as far as depth and starters, but had better results than we've had in a while. Heupel definitely making lemonade, which gives me hope he'll be able to do some good things once we have a better (or at least a full) roster.
Thank you. Not a moral victory where Bama covered the spread but a making lemonade game when given lemons game for the Vols. Thank you.

Not at all. All that we heard under the other coaches.

I love how hard this team plays.

Basically...I have zero issues with the intangibles I've seen from this team and staff so far.

But... Jeez... It's be nice to see that effort rewarded with a win that matters.

This program has been here, several times actually, over the last 12-15 years.. And almost every time we've come up short.

At some point... We need to win a game we're really not supposed to. We need to be the team that makes the plays. Not the one makes the game changing mistakes.

Siap... Didn't expect to win. So no sin in losing this game.

But I didn't expect it to be a game going in to the 4th either. Is that a moral victory? Yeah. It is.

At some point that can't be good enough.

I have watched TN lose games they had no business losing for 20 years. I have seen them do boneheaded things that just made me yell at the tv and eventually turn it off. I have seen coaches squander so much talent.

No one likes losing but this seems different for the first time in years. We are severely undermanned, breaking in new offensive and defense schemes again, but yet we have players giving their all. Are we coming up short in big games, yes. Do we look well coached, yes at most times. It should be obvious to anyone that we just need more players to compete. The future looks bright to me.

There hasn't been a coach since Fulmer where playmakers are open every series. That includes Lane Kiffin. As you said the X's and O's are superior. Significant upgrade. I don't miss sweating out wins against the Charlotte's of the world. Couldn't say that in the past.

Just got a text from Memphis with definitive analysis: "we were in it until we weren't." I still intend to go to bed.
