What is there to think about? We overperforned when we were outmatched. Final score didn't tell how most of that game went. Ok.....and? You gonna keep posting your bs all night? You think Saban is happy with his team's play?

I have watched TN lose games they had no business losing for 20 years. I have seen them do boneheaded things that just made me yell at the tv and eventually turn it off. I have seen coaches squander so much talent.

No one likes losing but this seems different for the first time in years. We are severely undermanned, breaking in new offensive and defense schemes again, but yet we have players giving their all. Are we coming up short in big games, yes. Do we look well coached, yes at most times. It should be obvious to anyone that we just need more players to compete. The future looks bright to me.

I agree. Just wish we all could get a result that validates all of that. We've had three opportunities this year.

We did go toe to toe for 3 quarters. But the final score sucks and at the end of the day that is what it is.

Dooley’s best game was a loss at LSU. But he got killed by UGA, Bama and USC and got lucky playing a bad OM team. But no one cares to really look at it.

That's a scoring timeline that perfectly outlines exhausted defense lacking in depth and rotation. That's not "hanging in the first half then getting blown out."

We hung for really 3.5 quarters. If Hooker doesn't throw that interception we still probably lose... but we hang longer.

That's progress in year 0. That's unbelievable effort from a team outmatched in every possible way.

Be mad at Bama, Bama fans, the SEC for their terrible officiating product, etc.

Don't be mad at the players or the staff. They're clearly doing a great job and playing at their maximum ability. You literally cannot ask any more of these guys. They're leaving everything they have on the field every day. I'm really, really proud of that.

That is what I wanted to see...for the first time in years we have a team that gives literally everything they have..that is the epitome of what being a Tennessee Volunteer always was to me.

I could not stomach another team of lazy mercenary quitters..I have watched that disgusting year after year after year...

We finally have a coaching staff and team that truly means it when they slap that sign.."I will give my all for Tennessee today"

I'm proud of them...we will get there.

Yup. I said right now all we can say is they play hard. Heupel is better than Pruitt and on par with Dooley thats all hes proven so far.

I hope BAMA loses out and we get them again in Nashville in whatever that Nashville bowl game is called. This post game analysis is so compelling I just can't break away like I have intended to.

Yes, Bama has ruined it. They've been allowed to play by a different set of rules for so long. Cheating does prosper, for some.

Yeah all 3 of those games have been frustrating. However, if you told me at the beginning of the year we would Lose to 2 Heisman finalist QB’s by a combined 12 points and play Bama to the 4th so well that it looked like Saban was about to have a heart attack, I wouldn’t have believed you.

Yep. We got man handled yet again. We played tough for 3 quarters blah, blah, blah. Same old crap different year. Injuries, depth, refs oh wait until next year. That’s all it ever is.

All those people whining right now about losing. Did you really think we would win? We have no depth, Cade Mays couldn't even play-- Saban left his first team into the fourth quarter and was red faced and screaming. We were close with the 2016 team--that had Kamara, Dobbs, Barnett, and a bunch of other NFL players. I choose to believe we will win the rest of our games with the exception of Georgia and go to a bowl. That is what hoped would happen with the team that is on the field.
