I think it is even deeper than that. They purposely called a very simple gameplan and told the players you must execute to be successful and now the coaches have evidence to show on film. Especially with the number of young guys playing. No scheming up plays to pick up yards with deception. Simple assignments. Win your 1 on 1.
I felt the same, and somewhat eluded to in the football thread. It was odd to see us running off tackle over and over and over, when there were blatant holes the backs could cut to. I wondered during the game if they were told to do that to prove a point? If not, then the backs we played have zero vision, but I don't think Thats the case. I feel a point was made, and proven.
