I just went back and watched it. The linesman clearly wound the clock and then waved his arms which indicates in bounds but 1st down. But you're right, he clearly dives and lands out of bounds.

The one I truly don't understand is the play before where Dobbs fumbled as he ran out of bounds. They spotted the ball and wound the clock. I thought that should be a stopped clock.

these damn coaches go in there pregame and recite these maxims but they dont even really coach by that. "keep it there for 60 minutes".....WTF ever happened to that?

You can't fumble the ball out of bounds forward, so we was down where he fumbled and clock does indeed start...

The other one... we got hosed.

Being a UT fan has been BRUTAL the last 7-8 yrs. I have absolutely NO faith that even if butch got fired they would act like a football power and do what it takes to get a proven winner as coach

Exaxtly. I'm so damned pissed but its so predictable. I'm logging off of here for awhile, not watching next week, and focusing on what matters. ***** the garbage ass decisions & plays in this game.

The team is very talented but you still have to use your talent and not throw it down the drain on 5 different play calls minis the trick plays

6-8 seconds also ran off after our initial first down on the last drive before they stopped the clock to spot the ball. Wish i could just laugh at how many things always go wrong in a critical game for us

You know the rules. We lost 5 to 6 seconds and holding calls helped on some of those conversions. But, CBJ screwed up AGAIN. He is trying to hard instead of just coaching.
