How are you supposed to have emotion to that garbage? I mean come on. DBs letting everything get thrown on them. QB can’t even move the ball..... we threw the dang ball on 2nd and 5 from the goal line and had it intercepted. How is a head coach supposed to have emotion when his guys just keep sucking. Him and the staff didn’t forget how to coach.... the guys just can’t execute and that is on the them, maybe a little on the staff to for playing the guys that can’t execute. But good lord..... at some point as a football team, you have to Atleast will yourself to a win..... such terrible football was played today.

People say the triple option wouldn't work but GT beat UGA fairly regularly under Richt and Monken beat UF in the Swamp with GA Southern. By "wouldn't work" they mean wouldn't be an SEC title contender. Well, we aren't going to be that regardless. Might as well be a pain in the ass for every opponent we play with a chance of upsets. Would also simplify recruiting because we wouldn't even have to waste time on the 5* divas.

Here's the most honest thing I can say after 12 years of this crap....

I'm out of ideas. I have no clue how or if we can ever get even remotely close to what we were.

We are a very long way from it... And still a pretty good ways from being middle of the pack. We're currently worse now than we were last year.

JG probably transfers and we'll roll in to next season hoping a true soph, true freshman or rs soph can lead us at QB.

And until proven otherwise we'll still have questions on both sides of the line of scrimmage.

All I can say is good luck to the coaches....

And for the fans...I just don't even know... Really wish I didn't care as much as I do.

Sign him before for 10m a year. Be serious about winning or dont. Bama got fed up and paid too much for Saban, at the time. It's time for us to say **** it

Which is the problem. They keep doing things the way you suggest. They waited a year too long on Dools. Botch tried to leave to go to UNC and they would not let him. So he stayed a season too long. They refuse to hire a proven HC, so they hire an up and comer. Gave him everything he wanted and needed to just fail again.

The buy out will be something they are always paying if they keep doing things the same way. If there are financial constraints and they need to factor the buy out in, go hire a Sunbelt level coach and be mediocre for a few years until it winds down. Then hire the proven HC. Just like InVOL posted - we are 1-2 HC's away from being a real program again.

Phil isn’t the type to be impetuous and axe Pruitt this year. And it doesn’t matter how bad this year gets (even 1-11). Now....if we see the same crap next year? All bets are off.

Fulmer may not have a choice at 1-11. Fulmer's own job may be in jeopardy. Don't forget the Haslams still want to get back to running the show with a stooge AD.

The recruiting pitch this year is still “we aren’t very talented, we need your help to get better” and with these coaches it will probably work this year whether we think it will or not. Next years recruiting class though is definitely gonna need to see some improvement.

Regardless, the only thing I’ve learned is that most of us on this site have no idea what we are talking about.
