The AJCs SECCountry.com polled a few commits and targets from both programs on who they think will come out on top.
Tre Shaw, CB, Cedar Grove, Ga. (undecided) I believe that UGA is going to bounce back this week, and the Alabama game was a fluke.
Jacob Eason, QB, Lake Stevens, Wash. (committed to UGA) Lets go 28-24 UGA. Theyre two good teams, it should be a fun game to watch. How well UGAs quarterbacks perform to take a little pressure off (UGA running back Nick) Chubb will be the deciding factor.
Carlin Fils-Aime, RB, Naples, Fla. (committed to Tennessee) I dont really like to make predictions on scores of games, but I will say that Tennessee will win because we are the better team. Thats what I believe. Georgia is also a good team, but we can and will beat them.
Darion Anderson, WR, Houston County, Ga. (committed to UGA) I think UGA is going to win and maybe blow Tennessee out.
Chase Young, DE, DeMatha Catholic, Md. (undecided) From what I have seen, I have Georgia winning because I dont think Tennessee is strong enough to control the running backs of Georgia.
Ben Davis, LB, Gordo, Ala. (undecided) I think its going to be 30-17 Georgia. Georgia is going to be hyped up to get a win. They will regroup and come out firing. (UGA running back Nick) Chubb is going to have a big game.
Tre Nixon, WR, Viera, Fla. (undecided) Georgia takes home the win because they just came off a meaningful loss, and if they can run the ball effectively, they will win.
Chad Clay, CB, Peachtree Ridge, GA. (committed to UGA) 35-17 UGA. I think theyre just a better all-around team.
Antwuan Jackson, DT, Cedar Grove, Ga. (undecided) I think UGA will win 35-10 because UGA is going to come out with a different attitude.
Nigel Warrior, DB, Peachtree Ridge, Ga. (undecided) I say its going to be whichever team comes out the hardest, also, both teams need to come out and redeem themselves after the loss they both had this past weekend. So whichever team comes out the hardest and maintains momentum before the half is over, I think is going to win. I think its going to be Tennessee.
MJ Webb, DT, Morgan County, Ga. (undecided) I say UGA is going to win it by one touchdown 28-21. Its going to be a close game, even though UGA has so many offensive weapons. Both teams are going to be hungry for a win. I just believe UGA will want it more.
William Poole, CB, Hapeville Charter, Ga. (undecided) UGA wins by 20 plus points. I say 44-21 something around there. I say that because I know UGA took a hard loss last week, and theyre looking to make adjustments and come out with their hats on fire and bounce back.
Landon Dickerson, OL, South Caldwell, N.C. (undecided) I believe Georgia will win 42-28, and I believe this because Tennessee hasnt been able to play a full four quarters.
