Recruiting Forum: Official Georgia Pre-Game/Game Thread

We will need the Dline to show up today.

*Not that they haven't so far.

Man, I just don't get all this confidence. I think we will win, but it will be in question late into the 4th. It's still a road SEC game against a rival who should be pissed after we came back last year. All I want is the W, no style points needed.

Bc we are better. That's why we're confident.

LB and CB injuries/absences suck but a stout DL masks a lot of deficiencies there.

I'm gonna take a cup out in this chilly IN morning to watch my wee baby girl dominate this soccer game. Yes. My child plays soccer. I'm going to a support group to deal with it. Lol.

It's okay if your daughter plays soccer...okay for son if he plans on being a kicker. :)

Yeah, but let's not pretend that that is the only factor that matters. Between playing on the road, defensive injuries and lining up against a pissed off team, we will be facing a lot of adversity in this one.

Never seen Sanford stadium make a difference. It's not a very hostile place. How do you know they are pissed? Does it matter if they are mad if that team blows? You're banking a lot on a bunch of cliche stuff.

You would think FL would be playing pissed right now....yet Vanderbilt seems to be handling them quite well. Vanderbilt.

They got embarrassed last week. It's not like they are at the point in the season where the one loss makes them pack up and quit. Still a lot to play for. I've been to most SEC stadiums, and you're right, it's not in the top tier of hostile environments, but they can still crank it up if UGA gets the mo.

Too bad Vandy sucks so much on offense. Any semblance of offense and they could pose a challenge to the Gators

Big difference between Neyland West at 11 AM and Sanford at 3:30 my friend.

Anyway, most are sweating this one, which is fine. I'll be nervous until there's reason not to be.

Where you going with this doc?

Soccer is a great way for a strong kicking leg to develop...just trying to help him justify rooting for a soccer playing child (without therapy). He's more likely to understand if it can be somehow tied to American football :hi:

Definitely not the only way to develop a football kicker :salute:

I've said all week I think it will be a 7-10 point win (hope it's more), so yeah, I think it may be a close game, but I don't understand all this "they're going to be pissed talk". Our team should be playing pissed too. We should be playing pissed every week. A decade of frustration in this program should have these guys out for blood the rest of the season.

Should be

Hammer
Nail
Coffin

for the rest of the season. Leave no doubt in anyone's mind that we are back and here to stay.

I agree. It's just easy narrative, cliche stuff. Our team knows what this means.
