'20 Recruiting Forum: Official Georgia Pregame/Game Thread

If we had a good QB I would feel great about this game. Unfortunately I see it going a bit like the bama game last year. Closer score though. 27-17 UGA

If this is close expect some calls to go Georgia's way. I'm sure the conference wants an undefeated Georgia/Bama regular season game. If we are going to win we simply can't give the zebras the chance to decide it.

Brother is a psychotic UGA fan in Macon. They are in a panic about the weather Saturday to the point of wanting the game moved to Monday or rescheduled altogether. Been a long time since they have been this worried about the Vols.
Lol I find it funny people think Football just gets moved because of rain..... 😂

If that is going to happen with the refs, there will be nothing we can do about it. See the Bama game last year. Bad call after bad call that were blatant, and they still didn’t care that everyone knew they were making sure Bama won.

They know we can run it right down their throats, if it comes down to a game like that.

If we can get pressure on him, I think we can force him into 2-3 more.

They showed a stat on the Bama game about how completely abysmal Mac Jones is when pressured. The reason he looks so good this year and is putting up ridiculous numbers is because he is rarely pressured.

I suspect Stetson is the same way. Get in his face and put him on the ground a few times and he will start chucking it up for grabs.

Yep. Coached a HS game in Dublin GA in 1989 the same night as Ga. Southern's "Hugo Bowl" before Hugo made landfall. Pouring rain sideways, wind blowing stuff all over the place. Cancelling or rescheduling never entered anyone's mind. Times have definitely changed.

It’s called soft

It’s my understanding that UT got into some officiating butts after that game.

And the SEC apologized and said "We promise we won't do it again. Cross our hearts"

I'm ready for a good ole fashioned SEC DOG FIGHT. I hope the refs have to break up a few shove matches. Hope both teams come out healthy and pissed off. I will NOT choose GA over the Vols. I, for one, think JG gets it done. Let's go young man!
