16-10 Tennessee wins in OT
We rush for around 200 yards and Gray breaks one for a W after a Bennett INT
They don’t have a good backup. He started the first game and he is not good. Hopefully, JT Daniels is a bust too.I want Stetson to play just okay enough they keep him in the entire game.
If he throws 3 picks he is getting benched and I am scared of any “backup”
I would like him to have a 10-22 day with 128 yards, 0 TDs and 1 int.
I'm ready for a good ole fashioned SEC DOG FIGHT. I hope the refs have to break up a few shove matches. Hope both teams come out healthy and pissed off. I will NOT choose GA over the Vols. I, for one, think JG gets it done. Let's go young man!
The place to take advantage is to make Bennett's bad passes count. He's already thrown 4 interceptable passes in 1.5 games, but is yet to be picked off. We have to be ball hawks and make the most of em. I know if Bryce gets a chance, he'll take it and might just house it.But my point was...the kid is playing as well or better than our QB, and to be fair our QB hasn't played badly.
I think Auburn had some opt outs on the D line so theyve had to rely on some undersized young guysReposting this bc I’m an idiot and put it in the wrong thread:
I was struck by Kirby’s comments that we have a good OL and “big guys” on the DL. At first it seemed like a back-handed compliment (big but not talented). But I had an idea and I did some research on Auburn’s DL. What I found was that they were routinely playing with one to two players at less that 270 lbs on the defensive line (in a 2-3 man front at that). It doesn’t appear that they have very many guys at 300+ who see the field and after rewatching the game it’s the obvious reason that they were routinely getting shoved off the LOS by UGAs massive line. No idea what Kevin Steele’s idea was but I don’t expect Pruitt to have fewer than three of our 290-300+ Dlinemen on the field at a time, especially if UGA is having success on the ground. And as a result I don’t expect UGA will have nearly as much success in the run game as they did on Saturday. Enough has been said about our OL but suffice it to say we should hold up significantly better than Auburn in both LOS, so this should be a more interesting matchup to say the least. Auburn was beat before the stepped on the field.
I agree..we gotta figure out a way to dial up some real pressure. I hope that Pruitt/Ansley have been holding a lil sumpinsumpin back. Our defense, especially the T-2 zone defense to this point has looked passive/uninspired and sucked at times, but the defense at other times has looked like a pack of wolves...the inconsistency is troubling, and I don't really understand it.The place to take advantage is to make Bennett's bad passes count. Right there with ya, mindboggled that pass defense has been our biggest issue on the team so far (and FG kicking...also confusing).I agree..we gotta figure out a way to dial up some real pressure. i get that GA has some real talent on offense at skill positions.I want Stetson to play just okay enough they keep him in the entire game.
