16-10 Tennessee wins in OT

We rush for around 200 yards and Gray breaks one for a W after a Bennett INT

I suspect if we run for 200+ yards it will definitely be because one of the RBs broke a long one or 2 because UGA will be tough to run on consistently. But we have to stay with the running game and have some success with it. I think if we can rush for at least 125 yards and keep JG out of constant 3rd and longs we have a fighting chance. If we can have some success running on 1st down it will give us the PA option on 2nd down. Chaney did a good job of mixing it up against Mizzou and keeping them on their heels.

I want Stetson to play just okay enough they keep him in the entire game.

If he throws 3 picks he is getting benched and I am scared of any “backup”

I would like him to have a 10-22 day with 128 yards, 0 TDs and 1 int.
Scared of a backup? What kind of fan are you ? Catbone?

And the SEC apologized and said "We promise we won't do it again. Cross our hearts"
iu
"We said against bama"

They don’t have a good backup. He started the first game and he is not good. Hopefully, JT Daniels is a bust too.

I was struck by Kirby’s comments that we have a good OL and “big guys” on the DL. At first it seemed like a back-handed compliment (big but not talented). But I had an idea and I did some research on Auburn’s DL. What I found was that they were routinely playing with one to two players at less that 270 lbs on the defensive line (in a 2-3 man front at that). It doesn’t appear that they have very many guys at 300+ who see the field and after rewatching the game it’s the obvious reason that they were routinely getting shoved off the LOS by UGAs massive line. No idea what Kevin Steele’s idea was but I don’t expect Pruitt to have fewer than three of our 290-300+ Dlinemen on the field at a time, especially if UGA is having success on the ground. And as a result I don’t expect UGA will have nearly as much success in the run game as they did on Saturday. Enough has been said about our OL but suffice it to say we should hold up significantly better than Auburn in both LOS, so this should be a more interesting matchup to say the least. Auburn was beat before the stepped on the field.

I'm ready for a good ole fashioned SEC DOG FIGHT. I hope the refs have to break up a few shove matches. Hope both teams come out healthy and pissed off. I will NOT choose GA over the Vols. I, for one, think JG gets it done. Let's go young man!

I hope they have to break up some shoving matches between opposing players too.

But my point was...the kid is playing as well or better than our QB, and to be fair our QB hasn't played badly.
The place to take advantage is to make Bennett's bad passes count. He's already thrown 4 interceptable passes in 1.5 games, but is yet to be picked off. We have to be ball hawks and make the most of em. I know if Bryce gets a chance, he'll take it and might just house it.

I think Auburn had some opt outs on the D line so theyve had to rely on some undersized young guys

I agree..we gotta figure out a way to dial up some real pressure. I hope that Pruitt/Ansley have been holding a lil sumpinsumpin back. Our defense, especially the T-2 zone defense to this point has looked passive/uninspired and sucked at times, but the defense at other times has looked like a pack of wolves...the inconsistency is troubling, and I don't really understand it.

Right there with ya, mindboggled that pass defense has been our biggest issue on the team so far (and FG kicking...also confusing).

But I have plenty of hope Sham and BT returning full time can be the difference.

*ALSO - maybe this is important* the average pass defense QBR allowed in-conference (lower is better) over the last 3 seasons has been 131. So far this season, it is a crazy high 147...small sample though. It seems everyone is struggling equally in this department.

Now, we have played expectedly mediocre passers so far, but we are 3rd in the league at 126 qbr allowed...1 td allowed, 2 INTs. 7.9 ypa is 6th best in the SEC. 61% completion allowed is 4th best. Maybe, given covid practice limitations, we aren't playing as poorly as it seems - relative. Unfortunately, UGA is absolutely destroying it in this area. Maybe a rainy game is what we should wish for.

i get that GA has some real talent on offense at skill positions.

but really...the scary thing about UGA is the defense.....that offense has no pressure b/c of how good that defense is.

if we're able to do anything offensively, consistently and get pionts, make it a ball game late....and really stress the offense in to HAVING to possess the ball, HAVING to score....then we might see some butthole tightening by the QB and/or the OC....

this game is all about our O line and blocking personnel handling the front 7, and our WR's winning their fair share of 1 on 1's outside, while also not making any game changing mistakes at the QB spot. so far, in our previous two games, we've done those things....

so the formula is there, it works. UGA's defense is just a different level than we've seen so far......our best defense could be the offense this week....we'll see.

Its Tennessee/Georgia

Its sad that some of you have quit before kickoff
I hate Georgia
No one can be any higher than they are on the Dudley shat list
The overconfident, egotistical, spoiled, trust fund frat boy mentality is what cost them year after year.
They play dirty and they cheat as soon as anyone gets up on them.
After that the excuses start to fly and "they were just lookiing ahead to x,y, or z anyway.
Its been 40 years since theyve done anything worth salt in the world of college football and yet they have Talent all over the field
and then there is Kirby bowl cut with a womans visor Smart. The man should be in prison for ciminally wasting talent over the years.
4-11, game on the line... What is the call Kirby? Yea ugh I think ill go with Fake Punt.
If things dont go their way from go they check out mentally and their golden goose, the savior of Georgia football throws the talent under the tire of the bus.
Remind you of anyone?

I cant hear that voice
I cant see that logo
I cant stand the Red

Oh yea, and Dr Lou. To hell with him too.
The only reason people watch is to laugh.
