'21 Recruiting Forum: Official Georgia Pregame/Game Thread

You can out scheme coaches, you can't out scheme talent, better talent wins out more than not. When you lack talent and depth you can't beat better players. It is what it is.
Ehhhh play calling has been extra vanilla. I tend to agree though.

Velus overthrow and the Keyton miss (wasn't Hooker's fault) are probably the difference. Could have had a lot of pressure on UGA but we just couldn't execute.

ONCE AGAIN... the coaches put the guys in place to make plays and the execution is the difference. We can all see the foundation of a competitive, exciting program. We have a lot of work to do to get there. We need depth. I/we say it every week.

Another game where we competed, had our chances, but it's just obvious we don't have the talent. This recruiting class isn't going to help us that much either. We better win the portal and get inside that top 10 for '23.

We have the talent man. We just don’t make plays and or clam up when the opportunity is there.
It doesn’t help that hooker couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn for about 4 or 5 possessions.

Hard for a QB to play well when line cannot stop the rush and receivers are not open
He’s been sacked more than any QB in the conference. Line has sucked all year.
It’s not new, we been giving him credit all year for playing great behind a trash OL and some of you don’t want to put any blame on him today for a subpar game.
Call it like I see it,best D we played for sure but he’s not played up to expectations after the 1st quarter
