'21 Recruiting Forum: Official Georgia Pregame/Game Thread

He’s been sacked more than any QB in the conference. Line has sucked all year.
It’s not new, we been giving him credit all year for playing great behind a trash OL and some of you don’t want to put any blame on him today for a subpar game.
Call it like I see it,best D we played for sure but he’s not played up to expectations after the 1st quarter
Offense really did let us down this game. Just a fact. The plays were there to be made.

Another game where we competed, had our chances, but it's just obvious we don't have the talent. This recruiting class isn't going to help us that much either. We better win the portal and get inside that top 10 for '23.
3 years minimum and probably more. You not only have to get the talent here but you have to let it mature as well

He could easily get rid of the ball and holds on to it. Yet never extends plays with his legs. So his priority should be to throw the ball away

We have the talent man. We just don’t make plays and or clam up when the opportunity is there.
It doesn’t help that hooker couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn for about 4 or 5 possessions.
Buddy, we have about 60 scholarship players after the defections and the injuries. We have 1 five star playing. GA has around 30. We are starting Aaron Beasly at LB and Solon Page is backing him up. I could out run our safeties. It is what it is.

The biggest stage yielded the worst results. Totally underwhelming. Dude better come back just bc this is embarrassing. We should be up 30.
He's broken a career record for completions in this game.

It's a team sport. Playing the best defense in the country. Is it Hooker's fault our running backs have 28 rushing yards?

Also, "We should be up by 30." Might be the dumbest comment I've ever read on this site. In order to be up by 30, we'd need 64pts as it stands now.

That's scoring a touchdown on at least 9 possessions to get to 63pts (I'll spot you one).

The Vols have had exactly 9 possessions (not including the one play before half).

So you, Mr. Unrealistic, expected the Vols to score a touchdown on every possession of the game, against the best defense in the country? That's a level of stupid I've not seen since I put Bruin on ignore.

Was hoping this would the kind of physical, between the tackles type of game that would play to his strengths, but he still stinks
He would just get carried backwards 7 yards honestly even if they did that. He should be playing like D-2 somewhere. Nothing wrong with that but he should not be here.

Bob and Eeyore are calling the game over before the 4th quarter has even started, down 17.

Do I think we will come back? No. But you're calling the game for Vol Network and that's your attitude, on air... with a lot of game left?
We're into a new era of UT athletics...just like LB and Safety needs upgrade, radio booth, as well.

We got to hit the portal even harder and better than they did last year. I still like our coach and I still like the direction we are going. This GA team is just to much for us. Your right we have to hit those chances we got earlier against a team like GA and we didn't. Hooker had a bad game but who doesn't? We can't be all for Hooker all year and then ready to throw him out after a bad game. lol
