'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Georgia Pregame/Game Thread

UGA is the most talented team in the country. They’ve not lost at home for years. I’m disappointed but some perspective is needed

So explain Arkansas? Like I said. This isn’t about UGA. We can’t win on the road consistently enough to win titles. This staff through 4 years has proven they can’t. I’m not calling for any jobs. This is way more enjoyable than the Pruitt and Dooley years.

But our ceiling is a 10-2 program until Heupel can figure out road games (if he ever does).

I think Heup is a better offensive mind than the tempo offense he runs. It hasn’t been great since Hooker.
Halzle has gotta go. Maybe all he does is fetch coffee or maybe he's part of the problem. No idea.

Offense needs an infusion of change. Acting like they invented 12 personnel was fun for the first three games. But nobody can tell me, looking at the sum total of offense in conference play, that everyone doesn't pretty much have this thing figured out.

Exactly what I suspected.
Didn’t say , didn’t want to have to respond to the usual’s .
But, when you make Oklahoma look better than they are, Arkansas look better than they are, Florida look better than they are, Miss st look better than they are,

What else could you expect?

Look at the numbers. That’s just a dumbass comment because we are losing.
No, it’s not. I’ve seen an offense go completely limp for 5+ games now. The scoreboard is the ultimate indicator. Not yds/game. That makes the numbers: 25, 14, 23, 24, 28, 33, 17 (currently). We did go 5-2 over that span with Bama being one heck of a win. They are not the same team now, though.

He’s gotten the benefit of UT paying for a lot of talent. He’s not an upper tier coordinator by any stretch.

Hes had the ability to have his corners be on an island and getting his dick shoved in by Bobo of all people

Top notch talent is necessary in this league. Name a coordinator at this level who has a good defense without a lot of really good players.

Agreed

Its very easy to defend at this point and honestly play calls are predictable from your couch on certain downs.

They really aren’t. People are too but logo worshipping lol Ole Miss bent them around backwards. It’s not that an L is bad, I think most of us understood that it was possible. But how the L occurred is disheartening. Your strength didn’t show up today. Why? Coaching staff has a road issue. Figure it the **** out or we won’t fully close the gap.

There’s not a team more talented and it’s extremely difficult beating them in Athens. But I agree, we blew it in the second half. It was there and we didn’t rise to the occasion.

Stop with the gloom and doom. Top notch coaching staff loses road games every year. Heck Georgia lost 2 road games this year. It’s college football, it’s hard to win on the road

I was reared on the teat of Dooley, jones, and Pruitt. Having the level of success Richt had would be awesome for our program
The infrastructure of the athletic department is finally solid. Those coaches were hired because there was a s*** show behind the scenes and good coaches wanted no part of it. Billy Napier wouldn’t even talk to Tennessee.
