'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Georgia Pregame/Game Thread

Top notch talent is necessary in this league. Name a coordinator at this level who has a good defense without a lot of really good players.
Of course it’s necessary. But he doesn’t elevate ****. Watch the Ole Miss game last week. This Georgia offense is not that good and they walked all over us like we were a middle school team.

The infrastructure of the athletic department is finally solid. Those coaches were hired because there was a s*** show behind the scenes and good coaches wanted no part of it. Billy Napier wouldn’t even talk to Tennessee.
I agree. I think we're finally capable of having a Richt-level football program, which is great

Us beating UGA keeps them out.

But yet would lock us in so 🤷‍♂️ officals were trash tonight but our defense was the bigger issue imo. Officals gift wrapped them 1 TD drive. The other 24 was just horrendous defensive play

Thing is we can’t really run tempo against Georgia, they got enough talent to just man up & Kirby will blitz right into the center every damn quick snap.

And this far we don’t seem to have enough offensive talent (especially on OL) to play well enough to beat em straight up.

Heupel figured out the Bama puzzle, now he’s gotta solve Georgia.

No, it’s not. I’ve seen an offense go completely limp for 5+ games now. The scoreboard is the ultimate indicator. Not yds/game. That makes the numbers: 25, 14, 23, 24, 28, 33, 17 (currently). We did go 5-2 over that span with Bama being one heck of a win. They are not the same team now, though.
I’ve seen guys wide open. It’s simply not as you say. The offense works. Sone of you will just say crazy stuff when we lose 2-3 games a year.
