Butch Jones will take that W over any other possible scenario that involves Tennessee walking out of that stadium as the victors.

Team won't quit in any game for the rest of the year now and the confidence of:

Dormady
Kelly
Callaway
Taylor

will be sky high. Good stuff.

Yes. Best possible outcome. Get taken to school and find a way to win. They won't want that to happen anymore.

Out played, got lucky, but a win is a win and I'll take it. Dormady better be on a short leash vs Florida. JG should play 2 quarters next week.

Malone doesn't play bigger at all. When have you seen him take over a game literally like that. You never saw him go up over DBs like that. And him being faster is debatable. Callaway easily broke away on that hitch after stiff arming the CB.

I agree. Callaway high points the ball better than Malone ever did. If Callaway just had Malone's speed, MC could be the greatest ever, but Pickens never had the big time speed and he was one of the greatest WRs in the history of a storied WR legacy at UT. That's who MC reminds me of Pickens and that's damn good company.

OL played really good after halftime.

Dormady settled down. Made some questionable throws but did not beat us.

John Kelly is what we thought.

Ty Chandler made some great blocks in pass protection.

Callaway is a big time player. Feed this man

Taylor and Bituli are phenomenal.

Justin Martin should be like us (paying to watch the game)

Gaulden saved our season.

Kyle Phillips lost contain on edge a few times, played decent.

We are 1-0!

That was a scary moment in UT Football history. Lose this game and wheels could come off.

I'm not sure if it was JK or Chandler but on the last drive to tie the game the RB did a great job in pass protection. Saw 2-3 plays, including the bomb to Callaway, where the RB chipped the DE that was beating Tatum most of the night. Spared Dormady a few extra seconds.

Trey Knox does that so good

I'm still pissed. We didn't deserve to win this game and Butch was outcoached.

Enjoy the win Cat. Have a shot.

This game moves me closer to the Butch isn't the guy camp, but it's always a good night when the Vols win.

We can pick it all apart tomorrow. I'll meet you here, deal? :)

Boy I'm telling you what there's nothing like Tennessee football. Roller coaster man. One minute you want everybody fired the next is pandamonium. Can't believe we got out of that with the W.

At the end of the day, we are all Vol fans and we can lay awake all night now because we are too hyped to sleep.

Guys...i want to apologize...a little negavol came out in me tonight...it won't happen again. I think our defense will look a lot better once we start playing more conventional offenses.

A win is a win.

I think a little (or a lot, in some cases) came out in all of us about halfway through the third quarter. It's all good. A win is a win.

Kongbo athleticism seems a little exaggerated. He had opportunities to close gaps with the speed he is reported to have. But he was never able to. Maybe he can get up to a good speed after 10 yards in a straight line. But he doesn't have near the quickness or burst.

I think he still has to think too much. I hope he plays enough to where he can go off instincts and learned muscle memory in games. Practice is reps, he has done the reps so he doesn't have to think, games are different. Maybe it will come to him. Playing time will only help.
