I didn't say they're incapable. I said they don't trust Joe to throw downfield unless they have really no other option. We're deep into the 4th quarter and Joe has 18 total passes. Most of those are really short passes too. That's what i mean.
And when they’ve called intermediate passes he’s looked really good. If he’s played great and coaches aren’t calling the correct plays… that’s on coaches not Joe
 
Just need to drive the ball a FG even keeps it a 2 score game.

With this much time and TOs I don’t think Stoops chances an onside, but need to be ready for it.

...and our coaches see Joe throw in the redzone in practice all the time. If they're happy with his ability in the redzone, then why are they so hesitant to call passes in the redzone?
 
He ain’t though. Tim banks just let him have easy stuff all day and now he’s just in a rhythm. If we woulda put him on his ass more earlier, he’d be in shambles.
UGA and mizzou crushed this teams soul but UT let’s them hang around and now we’re in a gotta have it moment
