Or put it this way, Arkansas has a Double OT loss at OkState, 4pt loss at A&M, 14pt loss to LSU, the 5pt win over the Vols and the drubbing by OM today.

South Carolina has 3pt loss to LSU, drubbing by OM, 2pt loss at Bama, and now the 24pt win over A&M.

Both teams 3-3 in conference. Both have a ranked win. Both drubbed by OM at home. Pretty comparable teams imo.

Vols losing by 5 early in the season at Arky with a chance to win on the final play is better than A&M losing by 24 at SoCar later in the season imo.
I don't agree. Usc would obliterate arky, they're not the same level of opponent. I agree with utk that the severity of the loss is what makes them close to comparable though.

Imagine if a Bama or UGA RB had Sampson's stats right now. He'd be top 3 in the convo for sure. It's insane that Sampson is barely mentioned. Or not mentioned at all.
Facts: Najee Harris and Trent Richardson, during their Heisman seasons, had 17 rushing TDs after 8 games. Dylan Sampson has more TDs through 8 games than anyone in SEC history.

I thought that was Nimrod. Y buddy had to tell me who it was. Couldn’t see but I thought I saw 11. In the back corner of the end zone near the UK fans?
The brazzell one wasn't really in the corner, it was a bomb to the middle ish of the endzone.

the committee will look at the timing and severity of the loss. Right now both teams having similar standing and records. Arky has a tougher SOS i think.

But any benefit to arky as an opponent helps both of us equally since they beat them. Better win for them and better loss for us. If aTm beats Texas and we don't beat UGA, they'll have the better win too.

The thing with Nimrod is he does have atleast one crucial drop every single week and that’s with limited targets. Its wild that he gets so much run.
It isn’t really. He’s in year 3. Matthews got some snaps but is still learning. Coaches play guys they trust to be in the right place.

That's true, if we are both 10-2 they'd have a better win and a worse loss. I think we'd both get in.

Unless Georgia proceeds to mop the floor with them in the SEC champ game. Then they'd be 10-3 fresh off getting smoked. UGA would be automatic. Texas would be 10-2. Vols 10-2.

If Bama beats LSU, then it’s not a given that A&M has the best win. Texas has beaten no one- Michigan is terrible this year. Both have losses at home while we would have lost 2 on the road- kind of like the basketball RPI. It’s going to be interesting.

I’m excited. I haven’t been to Neyland since the Florida game in 2022.

Those that live in Knox. Do not take it for granted. Neyland is a special place. Hopefully I can call myself a Knoxville resident one day and attend regularly.

Was awesome tonight. Except I wish Vol Twitter would use their stupid energy for something good and start hounding DW about the $100k donor seats only being 75% filled the entire game. Looks bad. Rest of the stadium was rocking!

@MarcoVol I think I was mostly positive tonight but got a little negative in the fourth and we iced it. I think I gotta go back to my up and own self 💀

Nimrod made two great catches. The one drop was a difficult catch. Not many receivers making that catch.

I’m sorry but that’s crazy. Any college football WR, especially a damn SEC should be able to catch a ball that hits him right in the hands. There was nothing difficult about that catch, he was open with nothing but green in front of him.
