Go Vols good effort all around!

Shoutout to DeBord. He's setting up some good run concepts to get Hurd loose.

Question my VOL Bro and Sisters. You know Astro turf was huge and then then started going back to natural grass. Some of the reason was that many believed it cause a lot of knee injuries and other types of injury. So, and I am not saying don't go back just asking a question for discussion for half time. So, has the field so improved that there isn't much difference anymore vs natural grass?

I believe the big issue was MRSA. But from what I gather, the tech for turf has gotten a lot better.

I wouldn't think so. I see a lot of ACL tears that are caused when the knee gives way..seems like slipping on grass would just increase the odds of that happening, no?

I remember seeing some guys the last few weeks slip awkwardly when the grass gave way and though wow they're lucky they didn't just tear an ACL.

Flip over to vandy-a&m. Their jerseys look pretty similar in color. Closest I have ever seen jerseys look on opposing teams.

The first play i watched, I was thinking why is he hitting his own qb? Ha

That is true. Megitt got hurt that way. Just awkward landing on natural grass.

Sorry, but not from the 20 yard line with 28 seconds. Plenty of time to run a play.

I guess. But that's super nit picky. Not a ton of time one way or the other. I have no problem with it. It's a safe way to give yourself plenty of time to run a good play.

Yeah I didn't word that right..obviously the ACL tears when the knee gives way Lol. But I meant it seems like it happens more when there's not enough traction instead of too much traction & the knee gets stuck..if that makes sense.

So, would you guys rather us find a different type of Natural grass? Of course a whole lot better than what we have now but would you rather have natural or artificial ?

Defense looks really good. But also it feels like Mizzou has no weapons. Especially at WR. I'll take it though. Hopefully we can keep this up.

That's 6 straight scoreless quarters.
